The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cropp avoids it really well and circles away.
Guus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cropp to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Izaak Guus has been cut.
Guus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cropp sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Guus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cropp sprawls well. Cropp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guus gets slowly back to his feet.

Guus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
BOOM! Cropp lands a beautiful left hook that drops Guus . Guus tries to recover but Cropp is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Guus lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A very excited looking Karol Cropp rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalashnikov needs to keep his hands up - Speed had a free shot at his head there.

Speed looks to land a combination. Kalashnikov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Kalashnikov is rocked!
Speed is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Kalashnikov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kalashnikov is out cold! Speed holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Speed!
A relieved looking Nathan Speed thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
