Al Kurd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Al Kurd throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Al Kurd. Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Al Kurd. Al Kurd fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Al Kurd goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Silva slips a jab and a cross from Al Kurd.
Al Kurd lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silva can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Al Kurd and Silva drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Al Kurd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barksdale scores with the left hand. Bryant knows he should have avoided that one. Barksdale throws a right and a left that Bryant avoids nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Bryant looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bryant doesn't manage to clinch there - Barksdale circles away.
Barksdale swats away the attempt to clinch by Bryant. Barksdale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barksdale looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Barksdale lands a lovely overhand right. Bryant tries to clinch up but Barksdale circles away and keeps his distance. Barksdale keeps the fight on the outside. Barksdale dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bryant. That did some damage! Bryant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barksdale. Barksdale obviously looking to wear him down.

Barksdale is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bryant wants to stand but Barksdale has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Barksdale tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bryant landing with the ground and pound. Bryant postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Barksdale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Barksdale as Bryant shoots in. Barksdale shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bryant as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Avon Barksdale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bryant will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bryant circles away from the clinch attempt.
Barksdale is looking to clinch. Barksdale shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barksdale was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bryant wants to control but Barksdale is having none of it. Barksdale looking to control and managing it successfully. Barksdale seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bryant for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bryant lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barksdale has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barksdale and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Barksdale looks to land a combination but Bryant avoids it well. Barksdale drops Bryant with a beautiful combination! Bryant stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Barksdale is looking for the KO!
Bryant is rocked! Avon Barksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barksdale lands with a right and another and another! Bryant is in big trouble! Barksdale lands again and this time it's lights out for Bryant! A quality knockout there for Barksdale.

Kelly takes the fight into the clinch. Kelly is trying to trip Recksun. He has hold of a leg but Recksun is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kelly persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Kelly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Recksun is proving hard to escape from. Recksun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kelly wants to control from the top but Recksun keeps moving. Kelly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Recksun is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Recksun gets underhooks to prevent Kelly's takedown attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Recksun trying to control from the bottom.

Kelly wants to control the pace but Recksun is squirming around nicely. Recksun's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Recksun tries to get back to half guard but can't. Recksun tries to lock up and control but Kelly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kelly wants to control the pace but Recksun is squirming around nicely. Andrew Kelly overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kelly punching from mount but Recksun doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Recksun squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Teho is trying for a kimura here. Hossein looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Teho wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wright wants to sweep here but Saget controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wright had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Saget is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wright Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Saget's back instead. Wright lands strikes to the head. Wright is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Wright has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Saget has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Saget throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Wright seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Saget is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
