Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shut Up (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mari Ore was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shut Up! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mari Ore! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ore looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Up wants to get back to his feet but Ore is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ore thows a big elbow that misses. Ore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ore advances to half guard. Ore thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Up's head. Up wants to get back to his feet.
Ore wants to pass to mount but Up is defending the position. Up knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ore on the ground. Up pushes Ore off looking to stand but Ore dives back in and keeps control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ore fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ore. Shut Up has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mari Ore. Ore fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Up shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ore's guard. Ore has his foot on Up's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Up works his way back into a safe position though. Up with a flurry of punches that miss. Up wants to pass the guard but Ore is keeping the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Up's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ore is trying to keep Up in close.
Ore is looking to sinch up a triangle. Up throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ore's body to avoid the submission. Ore has instead reached around Up's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ore arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mari Ore!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Balingit.
A jab lands there for Balingit. Balingit throws a body punch but Nuff moves out of range. Balingit lands a left and a right that send Nuff crashing to the mat, dazed. Balingit thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nuff is rocked!
It looks like Sho Nuff has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Balingit thuds a left hand into Nuff's body. Nuff is still on wobbly legs! Can Balingit finish him? Nuff looks gassed! Balingit shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Nuff takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Balingit sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Nuff bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doodle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carver looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Carver manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Doodle tries to pass the half guard into mount. Carver knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Doodle trying to control from half guard but Carver is working away. Carver looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Carver wants to get back to full guard. Doodle trying to pass the guard but Carver defending well. Doodle takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Doodle is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Doodle tries to pass the half guard into mount. Carver knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Carver looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Doodle drops an elbow to the side of Carver's head. Doodle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doodle working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Carver is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doodle pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carver actively working from the bottom here. Doodle is looking to advance position but Carver won't allow it. Carver keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Carver looking for submissions off his back. Carver is breathing heavily. Doodle wants to free his trapped foot but Carver is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Doodle shoots in and bounces Carver off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Carver had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doodle defends it easily. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doodle trying to control but Carver is working from the bottom. Doodle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Doodle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Doodle working some strikes from top position. Carver keeping full guard, as Doodle tries to pass. Doodle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Doodle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carver's guard. Doodle tries to pass to full mount but Carver defends it. Carver looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Doodle is pressing down on Carver's thigh, looking to free his foot. Carver is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carver looking for submissions off his back. Doodle takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carver avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Doodle. Doodle is trying to control. Carver wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Carver is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Doodle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Doodle's back! Doodle is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Carver gets his way!

Antonov Lopescu had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopescu misses with a two punch combination.
Gon DIas throws a wild body kick that Lopescu sees coming a mile off. Gon DIas scores with a body shot.
Lopescu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lopescu is breathing heavily. Gon DIas misses with a series of wild punches.
Gon DIas shoots in for a double leg but Lopescu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gon DIas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Raf Gon DIas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lopescu moves forwards but Gon DIas connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gon DIas thuds a left hand into Lopescu's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gon DIas works the jab nicely. Gon DIas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gon DIas takes a swing at Lopescu's ribcage but misses. Lopescu walks into a left hand. Gon DIas connects with a single shot there. Gon DIas looks for a takedown but Lopescu sprawls well. Gon DIas tests Lopescu's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gon DIas cracks a nice hook into Lopescu's ribs. The fight stays on the outside here - Gon DIas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gon DIas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lopescu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lopescu blocks a head kick by Gon DIas.
Gon DIas works Lopescu's body with a nice hook. Gon DIas ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Gon DIas scores with a jab. Gon DIas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gon DIas's corner calls for a 1-2. Gon DIas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gon DIas lands the left hand. Gon DIas swings for the body but Lopescu moves out of range.

Gon DIas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopescu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lopescu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gon DIas throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lopescu checks a leg kick. Gon DIas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lopescu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gon DIas tries for a takedown but Lopescu circles away easily and Lopescu counters by moving into the clinch. Antonov Lopescu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raf Gon DIas. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Gon DIas is trying to force a seperation but Lopescu has the dominant position. Lopescu swings away with an uppercut that misses.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lopescu wants to break free but Gon DIas has control.

Lopescu keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gon DIas's efforts to push away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raf Gon DIas dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gon DIas lands a lovely overhand right. A left lands for Gon DIas. Gon DIas pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gon DIas with a nice cross. Gon DIas has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lopescu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lopescu tries to close the distance and clinch but Gon DIas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gon DIas tries to avoid it but Lopescu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gon DIas to the ground. Gon DIas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lopescu walks away with a smile on his face. Gon DIas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lopescu misses with a takedown attempt - Gon DIas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lopescu misses with the combination.

Raf Gon DIas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lopescu looking for a sweep. Not yet Lopescu, not yet. Lopescu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gon DIas controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Antonov Lopescu. I think Gon DIas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aux tries to close the distance and clinch but Shepard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shepard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Aux napping and manages to drive through into side control! Shepard has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Aux tries to clinch up but Shepard circles away and keeps his distance. Shepard drives through with a takedown into guard. Shepard won't allow Aux to sweep him here. Aux might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Aux keeping moving, preventing Shepard from controlling successfully. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Shepard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Aux, up you get! Aux tries to close the distance and clinch but Shepard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It looks like Putus Malum has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Natas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Natas keeps the fight on the outside. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Malum has eaten all the pies! Natas shoots in for a takedown but Malum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Malum looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Malum tries to clinch but Natas is having none of it. Malum moves into the clinch. Natas tries to land knees in the clinch but Malum avoids the damage to the body. Natas is trying to break the clinch but Malum is controlling him. Malum throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Natas blocks it with crossed arms. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dhali Llamma. Llamma takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Llamma is breathing heavily. Kasady lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kasady dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Llamma falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kasady stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
