The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blankenship lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but StClair circles away quickly and effectively.
StClair throws a series of punches but Blankenship moves out of range.
StClair swinging wildly here.
Jr StClair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blankenship throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Blankenship has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
StClair keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blankenship pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blankenship tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. StClair manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
StClair closes the distance and clinches up with Blankenship, looking for a takedown. StClair pushes Blankenship against the cage but Blankenship circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Blankenship tries for a takedown but StClair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
StClair scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Kenny Blankenship has been cut.

StClair lands a jab.
Blankenship changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. StClair tries to avoid it but Blankenship manages to keep hold of a leg and drag StClair to the ground. StClair escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Blankenship throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
StClair lands a nice shot that snaps Blankenship's head back.

Blankenship throws a wild hook but StClair just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Blankenship gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - StClair raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

A momentary lapse in concentration from David enables Horton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. David manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
David looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Horton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Erek Horton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Markus Sizemore.

Tebow is trying to control Hunter's posture. Hunter takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Tebow! Hunter is rotating here... this could be the end... Tebow is out! Hunter has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

and Horton counters with a head kick that drops Estep to the mat! Estep scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horton rushes Estep and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Estep is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Estep jumps guard but Horton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Estep seems to have got his legs back now.

Estep manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Horton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Horton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Estep kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Horton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Estep will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Horton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Horton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
