Turris drops Ahern with a left right combo! Turris follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Jack Ahern has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turris is looking to take a break and control but Ahern is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dover really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Folignus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dover looking to control but instead Folignus has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Dover tries to stand but can't do so whilst Folignus controls his leg.
Folignus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dover's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dover's back!

Clarkson wants to control but Puempel is having none of it.
Puempel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Puempel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Daugavins slams Cruz to the floor and that's really hurt Cruz - he doesn't know where he is! Daugavins throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Lescott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Period's waist but Period gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lescott off to one side.

Period defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lescott.
Mister Period has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Lescott.

Zibanejadass has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but The Yard Father is really squeezing tight and eventually Zibanejadass passes out! The Yard Father breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
