The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivey tries a head kick but it misses.
Ivey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dames's hands. Dames throws a solid leg kick but Ivey takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dames. Ivey loads up on a big right hand but Dames slips the punch. Ivey avoids the head kick by Dames.
Dames uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ivey. Dames staying out of range there. Good work by Ivey as he checks the leg kick. Ivey lands with a nice body punch. Dames moves away from the strike by Ivey. Dames walks into a stiff left hand from Ivey. Ivey lands the left hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kenji Watanabe will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jyu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jyu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A slapping body kick lands there for Jyu. Jyu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hinton.
