Infamous dances in with a quick combination. Starn is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Infamous snaps Starn's head back. Starn stumbles backwards against the cage. Infamous steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Starn's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Eagles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnson Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Eagles had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Oh but Dos Santos is tightening it up a little... Demarco has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Demarco reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Demarco taps out! nice BJJ there by Dos Santos!

Klashkinov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Akinfeev sprawls well. Akinfeev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Klashkinov gets slowly back to his feet.

Akinfeev cracks Klashkinov with an uppercut from hell and Klashkinov crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Akinfeev's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Klashkinov is rocked!

It looks like Floyd Klashkinov has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klashkinov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Akinfeev is pushing down on Klashkinov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Klashkinov is fighting to maintain full guard but Akinfeev has managed to sneak the leg through.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Akinfeev connects with a nice short shot to Klashkinov's temple.

Klashkinov is still in real trouble! Can Akinfeev finish him?
Akinfeev is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Klashkinov is hurt! He's hurt bad - Akinfeev fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Klashkinov from any more punishment! Congratulations to Akinfeev! Great finish!
