18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elliot Saunders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Schulte! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schulte misses with a body shot.
Schulte misses with a straight left. Brian Schulte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schulte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Schulte misses the target. Saunders pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Saunders tries to score with a low kick but Schulte moves his leg out of the way. Schulte moves out of range of the body kick from Saunders.
Schulte thows a body shot but no joy. Schulte misses with a hook. Saunders gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Elliot Saunders has been cut. Schulte throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Saunders's head. Schulte digs a good body shot into Saunders's ribs. Schulte tries to score a power double leg takedown but Saunders sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schulte somewhat.

Schulte cracks Saunders with a right hand to the side of the head. Schulte tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Schulte throws a looping overhand right but Saunders ducks down to avoid it. Schulte swinging wildly here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saunders throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Schulte looks to score with a jab to the body but Saunders is just out of range. Schulte thows a body shot but no joy. Schulte scores with a leg kick.

Saunders shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schulte sprawls well. Schulte wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saunders gets slowly back to his feet. Schulte rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Saunders counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Saunders lands a jab. Schulte feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Saunders's calf. Schulte tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Saunders is able to avoid easily. Schulte dips to his left and cracks Saunders with an uppercut! Saunders throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Schulte tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Saunders is in Schulte's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Saunders works over Schulte with some ground and pound from guard. Schulte working a defensive guard here.
Saunders has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. This has been an exciting period of action! Saunders wants to pass the guard but Schulte is keeping the position. Saunders in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Saunders lands a nice forearm strike. Schulte struggling a bit here. Saunders tries to score with some ground and pound. Schulte controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Saunders is putting a hurting on Schulte here, landing some big shots from side control. Schulte is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Saunders off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elliot Saunders will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Saunders makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Saunders avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Schulte lands a nice looking body shot.
Saunders connects with a right hand. Schulte shakes it off. A shot to the liver by Schulte. Beautiful body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Schulte shoots for a double leg takedown but Saunders sprawls well. He's pushed Schulte's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice straight punches there by Schulte. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Schulte. Schulte looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Schulte waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Saunders. Saunders bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Saunders as Schulte shoots in. Schulte shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Saunders to counter with a crisp jab.
That has opened up Brian Schulte's cut even more. Elliot Saunders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Schulte. Schulte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schulte throws a poor cross that misses
and Saunders counters with a nice body shot. Schulte is breathing heavily. Schulte shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saunders as he jumps to the side.

He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Deacon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Deacon is trying to get back to half guard. Knox in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Deacon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Knox wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Deacon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Deacon is controlling Knox's trapped leg to prevent Knox from advancing to side control. Deacon tries to get to full guard but Knox has control of the leg. The fighters are battling for position here. Deacon manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Deacon trying to keep a closed guard but Knox is proving a slippery customer.

Knox stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knox wants it to stay on the feet. Knox has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Deacon. Deacon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knox tries to avoid it but Deacon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knox to the ground. Knox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Deacon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A head kick from Deacon lands but Knox takes it in his stride. Deacon shoots in looking for a takedown but Knox manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Deacon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bishop Deacon. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Deacon is defended easily by Knox. No joy there for Deacon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Deacon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Deacon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mathers tries to bum rush Dukic with a series of wild strikes but Dukic uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mathers goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dukic looks to land a right hand but Mathers moved out of range. Dukic misses with a straight left. Dukic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mathers.

Mathers throws an overhand right that lands on Dukic's shoulder, as Dukic tries to avoid the shot. Dukic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dukic misses the jab. Mathers takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mathers throws a looping overhand right but Dukic ducks down to avoid it. Mathers moves out of range of the leg kick from Dukic. Jacare needs to keep his hands up - Barker had a free shot at his head there. Jacare fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jacare shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barker wants to improve his position but Jacare is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clarke moves away. Clarke moves out of range of the strikes. Castle leaves Clarke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Clarke throws a low kick but Castle avoids it. Clarke misses with a takedown letting Castle counter with a right hand. Clarke swinging wildly here.
Clarke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castle moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Clarke. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendall Clarke. The fight stays on the outside here - Jaa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jaa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saukko manages to avoid it. Saukko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jaa. Jaa takes a kick to the side of the head. Jaa throws a push kick but Saukko slaps the foot to one side. Jaa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Saukko. That one must have hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jaa looks to land a left hand but Saukko moved out of range nicely. Saukko tries a low kick but Jaa avoids it. Jaa thuds his right hand into Saukko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ozbourne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ozbourne throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brown works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ozbourne wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Ozbourne engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Ozbourne throws a big right hand that misses. Ozbourne's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ozzy Ozbourne was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ozbourne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily. Ozbourne defending well as Brown loads up on a big left hand.
