The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murt tries to clinch up.

Benkins shoots in and bounces Murt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murt tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Murt is pressing down on Benkins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Benkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Benkins connects with a nice short shot to Murt's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Dunham counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Joyce out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Dunham is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.

A very excited looking Bo Nerr rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
