Sikapossu throws a nice looking combination but Kosarev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kosarev is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kosarev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sikapossu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kosarev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sikapossu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sikapossu misses with a wild combination.

Trezeguet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Trezeguet closes the distance but Darnell moves to the side
and Darnell counters with a straight right hand.
Darnell misses with a takedown attempt - Trezeguet sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Darnell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice takedown defense from Trezeguet. No joy for Darnell on that attempt.
David Trezeguet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Darnell.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horrible takedown by Darnell or perhaps it was just good defense by Trezeguet which made him look bad.
Trezeguet moves in looking to clinch but Darnell pushes him off.

Darnell lands with a hook. Trezeguet tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A jab from Darnell does it's job there.
Darnell's corner calls for a 1-2. Darnell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Darnell steps into range and cracks Trezeguet with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Trezeguet flops backwards and Darnell dives into his guard looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Darnell gets to his feet and stands over Trezeguet, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Trezeguet felt that one! Darnell unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Trezeguet from any more punishment!

Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Pershiki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pershiki manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Pershiki's guard.
Pershiki is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones stands and steps away. Pershiki gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pershiki defends it easily.
Pershiki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goffard dodges the punch combination from Gronholm.
Goffard feints a jab promting Gronholm to slip. Goffard then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gronholm slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Marcus Gronholm has been cut.
Goffard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gronholm as he avoids it easily.
Goffard connects with a single shot there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gronholm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Goffard lands a jab-cross combination.
Goffard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Goffard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Goffard moves into the clinch successfully.

Goffard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gronholm keeps the fight on the outside.
Gronholm showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Goffard.
Goffard takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Goffard is breathing heavily.
Gronholm swinging wildly here.
Gronholm fails to land with a series of punches.

Goffard chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gronholm can pounce on him.
Gronholm lands with a nice combination. Goffard backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Nathan Goffard has been cut.
Gronholm cracks Goffard's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Goffard slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Gronholm can do further damage! This one is done, son!

A determined Marcus Gronholm didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
