The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mojaus missing with a left hand there. Serial Killer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mojaus throws a leg kick which misses Serial Killer's front leg but catches the back leg as Serial Killer tries to avoid it. Serial Killer tries to land a front kick but Mojaus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Serial Killer tries a head kick but it misses.

Mojaus throws a hook but Serial Killer blocks it. Serial Killer throws a head kick but Mojaus moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kildahl throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mad Cow gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kildahl gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kildahl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kildahl swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Mad Cow tries to clinch and Kildahl counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kildahl. Kildahl tries to pull guard but Mad Cow forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Kildahl is trying to break free. Mad Cow wants to take the fight to the mat but Kildahl manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kildahl drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mad Cow pulls his leg out and moves away.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mad Cow wants it to stay on the feet. Kildahl looks gassed! Kildahl lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mad Cow circles away quickly and effectively. Kildahl looks to land a combination but Mad Cow avoids it well. That kick from Mad Cow tenderised Kildahl's leg. Kildahl is trying to keep his angry face on. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Mad Cow shoots in for a double leg but Kildahl sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mad Cow is looking to clinch. Kildahl takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kildahl tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mad Cow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mad Cow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mad Cow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kildahl struggling a bit here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mad Cow tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kildahl's legs.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Mad Cow decides to stand back up. Kildahl fails with an attempt to clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Young misses. Young has managed to clinch.
Q tries to pull guard but Young holds him up against the cage and eventually Q drops back down to his feet.
Young pushes Q back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Young lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Young is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Q jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Young walks away with a smile on his face. Q gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Young thuds his right hand into Q's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Young fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Q, pushing him back against the cage. Young throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Q blocks it with crossed arms. Young lands a left hand that snaps the head of Q backwards. Q gets control of Young's arms and successfully pulls guard. Q will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Q looking for a triangle here. Young is fighting it but it looks tight! Q pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Young is tapping out - this one is all over!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harrison wants to stand but Locke has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Harrison preventing the sweep. Flave throws a hook but Zetto avoids it easily. Flave scores with the left hand. Zetto knows he should have avoided that one. Zetto lands a nice hook to Flave's body. Flave takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Zetto misses with a hook. Flave ducked under it nicely. Flave lands a jab to the nose. Zetto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Zetto scores with a jab. Flave acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Zetto jabbing away but nothing is landing. Zetto moves out of range of the strikes. Nice defenses there by Flave. A cross from Flave lands. Flave uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zetto. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zetto scores with a decent looking hook. Zetto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Flave tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zetto paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Akuma Zetto dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Zetto tries to keep at a distance but Flave has taken the fight into the clinch. Flave is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Zetto lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Flave has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zetto uses from the top position. Flave keeping moving, preventing Zetto from controlling successfully. Flave had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zetto defends it easily. Flave working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zetto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zetto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Zetto drops back looking for a leg! Flave is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flave manages to kick Zetto off! Zetto jumps back into Flave's guard. Zetto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Flave is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Derek Brown! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a right hand that misses
so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brown passes into half guard. Jackson is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted? Jackson is defending against the submission attempts here by Brown.
Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Still in half guard, Brown seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brown is trying for a kimura here. Jackson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Brown wins by kimura!

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mos Def! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Def shoots for a takedown but Henderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mos Def seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Def shoots in and drives through. Henderson sprawls well. Def looking to score a takedown here. Henderson is defending well but Def drives through and ends up in Henderson's guard. Def trying to control but Henderson is working from the bottom. Def controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Def wants to pass the guard but Henderson is keeping the position. Def's corner is telling him to maintain position. Def pushes down on Henderson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Def is trying to control the action in half guard but Henderson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Def is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Def wants to control but Henderson is keeping him busy. Def not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Def is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Henderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Def. Def content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Def might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Def's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mos Def was stalling too much, according to the referee. Def shoots for a takedown but Henderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alex Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mos Def. Def slips a jab and a cross from Henderson.
Def moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Mos Def has been cut. Def tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Henderson swivels and escapes. Def shoots in for a takedown but Henderson shows good takedown defense. Henderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Def is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Def tries to score a body lock takedown but Henderson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Henderson tightens his grip and picks Def up, before dumping him to the ground. Def manages to land in guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Def keeping full guard, as Henderson tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Def looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Henderson is defending well. Def quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Henderson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Def celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mos Def! Mos Def very nearly forgot to thank Knockout Nutrition (150Q $25) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
