On his way into the cage it seems that Charles Soprano has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charles Soprano seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emmanuel Felix Zakora! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soprano keeps the fight on the outside. Soprano gets a takedown into half guard. Zakora is staying active underneath Soprano, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Soprano throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Zakora to regain full guard. Soprano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zakora works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Soprano wants to stand but Zakora has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Soprano sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Charles Soprano just wasn't active enough. Soprano closes the distance and clinches. Soprano has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Zakora jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soprano walks away with a smile on his face. Zakora gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Zakora gets caught napping as Soprano dives in and scores a takedown. Zakora manages to retain guard. Soprano trying to control the position from guard on top but Zakora is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Soprano controls from within his opponent's guard. Soprano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Charles Soprano wasn't doing enough on the ground. Zakora tries to clinch up and Soprano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zakora tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Soprano paws at him with a jab and circles away. Zakora tries to clinch but fails miserably and Soprano counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Soprano. Zakora is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Soprano is keeping busy. Zakora looking to throw knees to the head but Soprano is blocking nicely.
Soprano gets a trip takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Soprano tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Soprano stalling away here and it's allowed Zakora to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Soprano is looking to stand up but Zakora won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soprano postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Soprano is looking to stand up but Zakora won't let him. Soprano throws a big right hand that misses. Zakora throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Charles Soprano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Soprano throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Soprano is stalling here. Zakora is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Soprano seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Zakora has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Zakora works to advance to full mount. Soprano defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Zakora controlling his opponent. Zakora tries to control but Soprano wriggling away. Zakora mounts Soprano! Really nice guard pass there!

Zakora lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Soprano hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zakora throws some wild stikes that Soprano manages to avoid easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Soprano is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zakora looking for the RNC. Zakora is landing with strikes. Soprano can't take much more of this. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Soprano trying to control but not successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camcho lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Camcho lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jones tries to clinch and Camcho counters with a thumping low kick. Jones throws a series of strikes that have Camcho backpedaling.
Camcho clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage. Camcho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Camcho finds it's way through Jones's defenses. Camcho thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A slapping leg kick lands for Camcho.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Camcho closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard. Camcho trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Camcho working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Camcho there. Camcho works his way into side control. Jones looks gassed! Camcho throws an elbow but Jones slips to the side and avoids it well.

Camcho tries to move to mount but Jones blocks the move with his legs. Camcho connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jones some visible discomfort.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durin misses with a series of wild punches.
A combination from Durin does no damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Durin stuffs the takedown attempt from Armor. Armor gets slowly back to his feet. Durin lands with a nice body punch. Durin misses with a low kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Armor is defended easily by Durin. Armor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durin pinned against the cage. Durin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyrone Armor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durin looking to score a takedown here. Armor is defending well but Durin drives through and ends up in Armor's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Durin with a flurry of punches that miss. Durin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Armor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Durin's best efforts. Wooooo! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Armor breaks from Durin's wrist control and lands an elbow. Armor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Durin is looking to escape. Armor goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Durin turns into him and now he's in Armor's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Osulf Durin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Armor has a takedown stuffed. Armor misses with a kick to the body.

Armor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Durin counters with a one-two to the body.
Armor is rocked! Durin lands a big right hook! Armor looks hurt but is still standing! Durin lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Armor falls down and Durin dives in with a huge hammer fist! Armor's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Durin runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

My lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
My lands strikes from half guard. My controlling the pace. My thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. My tries to pass the half guard into mount. Thompson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. My stalling. My is looking for a kimura but Thompson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for My to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. My looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. My takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Janne My hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Thompson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as My sprawls well. My wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thompson gets slowly back to his feet. Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch but My swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. My shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than My was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Thompson looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
My looking for the RNC. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. My has the hooks in. Thompson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. My has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Thompson is defending well but eventually My manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Thompson has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kouko lands a nice hook to Price's body. Price takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kouko jabs Price to the body, keeping him at a distance. Price fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Price shoots in but no luck this time. Kouko throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kouko misses with a double jab.
Price tries for a takedown but Kouko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Price. That's going to take a lot out of him. Price takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Jesus Price has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Price tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kouko swivels and escapes. Kouko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Santos misses with a takedown and Munoz counters with a lovely shot to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Santos, as that shot connected.
Santos dives in and grabs Munoz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Munoz pushes down on Santos's head and hops out. Rodrigo Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Munoz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Santos pushes down on Munoz's leg and manages to get into half guard. Santos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Munoz is staying active underneath Santos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Munoz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Santos. Munoz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Santos. Santos throwing shots but Munoz is blocking nicely.

Rodrigo Santos has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Munoz cracks Santos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Munoz thows a body shot but no joy. Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Munoz tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Munoz to the ground. Munoz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. Santos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Santos is working for a kimura but Munoz is defending it quite comfortably.

Munoz moves out of range of the leg kick from Santos. Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Munoz. Munoz jabs Santos to the body, keeping him at a distance. Boom, another hit is landed. Santos shoots in for a takedown but Munoz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fighters circling - Munoz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Santos misses with a wild combination.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Munoz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice takedown defense from Munoz. Santos takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Munoz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santos. Mark Munoz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Santos tries to keep at a distance but Munoz has taken the fight into the clinch. Santos is looking to take this one to the mat. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Munoz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Santos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Santos is breathing heavily. Munoz scores with a shoulder strike. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A shot in the inside from Munoz. A shot in the inside from Munoz. Munoz makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Munoz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Munoz gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Santos.

Santos postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Santos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Munoz dives on top into guard. Munoz stops Santos from standing up. Munoz throwing strikes but missing. Rodrigo Santos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Santos throwing strikes but missing. Munoz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Santos manages to get himself to full guard.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Santos avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Munoz. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos sneaks back into half guard. Munoz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Santos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Santos is trying to stand up here but Munoz is controlling him well. Munoz trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom. Munoz lands strikes from half guard.

Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gracie landing with the ground and pound.
