The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee. Destroyer closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab. Destroyer has a takedown stuffed. Destroyer fails with a takedown attempt. Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Destroyer pinned against the cage. Destroyer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Destroyer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ass Destroyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee wants to improve his position but instead Destroyer has moved into half guard.

Lee manages to regain half guard. Good work. Destroyer moves nicely into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Destroyer dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Destroyer's head and hops out. Destroyer tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lee counters by moving into the clinch. Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Destroyer prevents it.

Rock Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Destroyer wants to get back to full guard but Lee has passed into side control. Lee throwing shots but missing, from side control. Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Destroyer to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Destroyer as Lee shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Destroyer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Destroyer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No luck with that takedown attempt from Destroyer. Destroyer fails with a takedown attempt. Lee dives in and grabs Destroyer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Destroyer pushes down on Lee's head and hops out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Destroyer's waist but Destroyer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Ass Destroyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Destroyer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ass Destroyer. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Alaskan Assassin has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Assassin tries to clinch and Maimer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Maimer lands a big uppercut and Assassin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Assassin looks OK. Maimer waves Assassin back to his feet!
Assassin is rocked! Maimer plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Assassin to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Assassin just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
