Tombo tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nelson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tombo has escaped the position, nice work there.

Nelson has hold of Tombo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tombo seems comfortable defending it but Nelson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tombo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tombo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nelson couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Navozov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sapp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Payette fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barr, pushing him back against the cage.
Barr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barr is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Payette is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Barr is trying to push Payette away but Payette has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Payette lands a nice knee to the body.

Kaigorodov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vernitskaya's waist but Vernitskaya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaigorodov off to one side.

Kaigorodov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Vernitskaya is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Yawoka comes into the arena with keep running up that hill blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Suarez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yawoka tries to avoid it but Suarez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yawoka to the ground. Yawoka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
