Connen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rock You Like a Hurricane. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shael Connen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edu Xande! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xande closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Xande looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Xande gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Connen thuds his right hand into Xande's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Xande leaves Connen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Connen gets a clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Connen.
Connen tightens his grip and picks Xande up, before dumping him to the ground. Xande manages to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Xande working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Connen. Connen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Xande looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Connen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Xande works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Connen tries to free his leg and advance position but Xande is retaining full guard. Connen throws a strike but Xande rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Xande stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Connen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Connen wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Connen holds on and takes a little breather. Xande postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Connen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Xande controls the pace. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Connen has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Connen. Connen is looking to take this one to the mat. Xande ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Xande no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Connen tries to free his leg and advance position but Xande is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xande trying to keep a closed guard but Connen is proving a slippery customer.
Connen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Connen postures up in Xande's guard and throws a big left but Xande blocks it. Xande is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Connen is controlling him. Xande pulls Connen in close to his closed guard and prevents Connen from doing any damage or advancing position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Xande looking to control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Edu Xande. Connen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Xande circles away quickly and effectively. A punch combination from Connen misses. Connen tries for a takedown but Xande sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shael Connen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Xande lands a two punch combo.
Connen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Xande circles away. Connen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Xande swivels and escapes. Xande throws a right and a left that Connen avoids nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Connen moves into the clinch successfully.
Connen goes for a takedown attempt but Xande pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Connen shoots in looking for a takedown. Xande tries to sprawl out of it but Connen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Xande manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Connen is breathing heavily. Connen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shael Connen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Xande tries to clinch up. Xande fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Connen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The fight stays on the outside here - Connen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Connen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Xande counters with a takedown into side control. Connen is looking to reverse the position. Connen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Xande working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Xande decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Xande keeps the fight on the outside. Connen gets tackled into the cage by Xande. Xande maintains the clinch. Xande gets control of Connen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Xande will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Connen postures up in Xande's guard and throws a big left but Xande blocks it. Xande is trying to control the position but Connen postures up. Xande lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Connen! Xande in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Xande trying to control but he's not successful this time. Connen trying desperately to get to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Xande controlling his opponent. Connen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Xande.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edu Xande dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Connen or perhaps it was just good defense by Xande which made him look bad. Xande closes the distance and clinches. Xande has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Connen uses from the top position. Connen is sitting in close to Xande's body. Xande has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Connen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Connen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Xande.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manners cracks Kraze with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Peyton Kraze has been cut. Manners misses with a head kick.
Manners throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kraze connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Dixon Manners has been cut. Manners shoots in looking for a takedown but Kraze manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manners's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Manners scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kraze in his tracks. Manners misses with a shot to the body and Kraze counters with a crisp one two that drops Manners! Kraze thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Manners to his feet! Manners is in big trouble!
Manners is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kraze throws a sloppy head kick and Manners moves out of range easily. Manners is still on wobbly legs! Can Kraze finish him? A jab from Manners does it's job there. Manners seems to have recovered his senses. Kraze tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Manners rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kraze counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Manners goes down! Will Manners beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action! Manners ducks under a wild hook from Kraze. Kraze throws a low kick but Manners moves out of range easily. Manners lands with a straight right. Kraze didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kraze. Kraze jabs Manners to the body, keeping him at a distance. Manners wants to slow Kraze down by chopping away at his legs. Kraze throws a lazy right hand but Manners sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Manners shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Donk. Manners catches Kraze right on the button with a cross. Manners throws a nice inside leg kick. Kraze ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Peyton Kraze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kraze drops Manners with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Manners looks back up at him and smiles so Kraze waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Manners. Peyton Kraze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dixon Manners. Kraze lands a big uppercut and Manners crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Manners looks OK. Kraze waves Manners back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kraze walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kraze on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Manners. Manners obviously looking to wear him down.
Kraze throws a series of punches but Manners moves out of range. Kraze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Manners is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kraze is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Manners. Manners cracks a nice hook into Kraze's ribs. Oooooh!!! Kraze has knocked Manners down with a huge combo! Kraze steps away and waves a wobbly Manners back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
That has opened up Dixon Manners's cut even more. Manners throws a leg kick which misses Kraze's front leg but catches the back leg as Kraze tries to avoid it. Kraze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manners was well out of range. Poor timing from Kraze. Kraze throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manners throws a low kick but Kraze avoids it. Kraze jabs at Manners's body. Kraze jabbing away but nothing is landing. Manners misses with a straight right. Manners swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kraze.
Peyton Kraze's cut is getting worse. Manners thuds his right hand into Kraze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. It's a brutal combination of punches from Kraze! Manners is backing up but he can't get away as Kraze lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Manners and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Peyton Kraze! A very excited looking Peyton Kraze rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Helgi slips a straight right by Tintti. Helgi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tintti misses with the combination.

Helgi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Helgi scores with a nice head shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Helgi tries to clinch but Tintti moves out of range. Helgi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Helgi throws a wild body kick that Tintti sees coming a mile off. Tintti on the wrong end of a nice jab. Helgi tries to clinch but Tintti is having none of it. Helgi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tintti is out of range and Helgi settles back down. Helgi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tintti is rocked! Helgi fakes the body blow, causing Tintti to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Tintti goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Koslov enables Rozemblit to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Koslov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rozemblit won't allow Koslov to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rozemblit looking to pass the guard. Nice sprawl there from Koslov as Rozemblit shoots in. Koslov is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Koslov throws a right hand that Rozemblit ducks under and follows up with a left that Rozemblit also avoids with ease. No joy there for Koslov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rozemblit tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koslov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rozemblit somewhat. Boris Koslov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Rozemblit. Rozemblit throws a front kick aimed at Koslov's knee but Koslov avoids it well. Rozemblit throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Rozemblit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Koslov on the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight! Jose Rozemblit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rozemblit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. I think Frendi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War Is My Destiny. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Niska Laukaus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laukaus checks a low kick from Frendi. Frendi misses with a low kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Frendi. Laukaus scores a takedown into full mount! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Frendi is squirming around, avoiding Laukaus's attempts to control the action. Frendi is trying to escape the mount.
Frendi gets back to half guard. Laukaus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frendi is just riding it out for now. Laukaus eventually gives up the hold. Laukaus missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frendi tries to kick Laukaus off in order to stand up. Laukaus Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Frendi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Laukaus's best efforts. Frendi wants to control but Laukaus is keeping busy.

Laukaus working away. Laukaus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Frendi looking for a sweep but Laukaus has passed into full mount! Oh no! Laukaus is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frendi is surviving well by controlling Laukaus's body position as best he can. Laukaus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frendi is looking to escape. Laukaus is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Laukaus has hold of Frendi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Frendi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

It looks like Niska Laukaus has been cut. Frendi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Laukaus. Laukaus takes a kick to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frendi tries to score with a low kick but Laukaus moves his leg out of the way. That kick from Frendi tenderised Laukaus's leg. Laukaus is trying to keep his angry face on. Nice straight punches there by Laukaus. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Laukaus. A head kick by Frendi misses and Laukaus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Laukaus has Frendi up against the cage in a clinch.

Laukaus tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Frendi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Frendi is trying to improve his position. Laukaus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Frendi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lucky escape for Frendi because Laukaus loaded up on that one. Laukaus misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Frendi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That was a close second round but I would say that Liepo Frendi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Niska Laukaus's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
