The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segura fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Segura as he avoids it easily.

Walker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Segura throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Segura just misses with a elbow thrown towards Walker's brow.
Walker is trying to force a seperation but Segura has the dominant position.
Walker keeps control of Segura as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Walker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Walker pulls Segura into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Segura has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Walker is proving hard to escape from.
Walker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Walker has control of Segura's left arm, preventing Segura from doing any damage.

Walker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Segura's guard.

Segura stuffs the takedown attempt from Walker. Walker gets slowly back to his feet.
Segura throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Segura counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Walker is lucky that one didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Walker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Segura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Segura is looking for a sweep. Walker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Segura pushes Walker off looking to stand but Walker dives back in and keeps control.
Segura scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Walker manages to mount him!

Walker is working to tighten is grip on Segura's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Segura has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Walker is really squeezing tight and eventually Segura passes out! Walker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pierre Saint is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off.

Pierre Saint goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smith turns into him and now he's in Pierre Saint's guard.
Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pierre Saint isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smith stacks Pierre Saint on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smith!

Brookins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Rig counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rig. Zatara shrugs it off though.
Rig lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rig lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Zatara crumples to the floor! Rig milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baroa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Perry's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Baroa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Perry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Perry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Perry!
Baroa struggling a bit here.
Perry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baroa keeps working.
Baroa tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Perry has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Perry scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Jesus Baroa has been cut.
Perry throws a nice looking combination but Baroa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Baroa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Baroa tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Baroa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Perry as he avoids it easily.
Baroa is breathing heavily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Perry.
Baroa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Perry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Perry lands a nice shot to the body.
Perry throws a nice outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Perry throws out a powerful jab.

Baroa is rocked!

Perry sends Baroa crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Perry is motioning to the referee to let Baroa up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Baroa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Perry engages and cracks Baroa with a massive lead left hook - Baroa tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Perry is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Player throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
St Pierre shoots in for a double leg but Player sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Player misses with a wild body shot.
St Pierre shoots in looking for a takedown but Player manages to keep the fight standing, pushing St Pierre's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Good standup being displayed there by Player as he connects with a hook.

OH! Coulter has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Swartz smells blood and charges in for the finish! Swartz unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Coulter sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
