The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laboy shoots for a takedown but Young saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horrible takedown by Laboy or perhaps it was just good defense by Young which made him look bad.
Laboy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Young finds it's way round the side to connect with Laboy's head.
Laboy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alexander Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Laboy.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clive Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Majin Boo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Death March. Boo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Fucking Hate You by Godsmack. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Boo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Williams to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Williams shrugs it off.

Tulfo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Breznev but Breznev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Breznev shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Breznev misses with a straight left.
Tulfo moves out of range of the body kick from Breznev.
Erwin Tulfo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Breznev counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Tulfo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tulfo lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tulfo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Breznev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
