The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grzmot slips a straight right by Ferguson. Ferguson moves away from the strike by Grzmot. A nice inside leg kick there by Grzmot. That's going to slow Ferguson down. Ferguson drops Grzmot with a right and a left! Ferguson comes rushing in but Grzmot regains his composure and manages to keep Ferguson in guard.
Grzmot is rocked!
It looks like Janek Grzmot has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ferguson advances to half guard. Grzmot is still in real trouble! Can Ferguson finish him? Grzmot wants to improve his position but Ferguson is controlling well.
Ferguson is looking for a kimura but Grzmot is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ferguson to get the leverage. Ferguson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Grzmot quite badly. Grzmot pulls Ferguson in close trying to recover. Ferguson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Grzmot on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Grzmot doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duncan Ferguson! A very excited looking Duncan Ferguson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matthews connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A swing and a miss from Matthews. Matthews has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Matthews. Beucher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Beucher is looking to take this one to the mat. Matthews throws a punch but it's blocked by Beucher. Beucher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Matthews uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beucher. Beucher misses with an uppercut
and Matthews counters with a stiff right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matthews has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. Mendez tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Mendez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Escobar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mendez. Escobar misses with a two punch combination.
Escobar ducks under a wild hook from Mendez. Escobar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mendez tries to avoid it but Escobar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mendez to the ground. Mendez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Escobar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Escobar with a lazy takedown attempt and Mendez counters with a three punch combo that has Escobar backing up. Escobar nods at Mendez to acknowledge the strikes. Mendez cracks Escobar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Mendez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pablo Escobar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mendez stuffs the takedown. Mendez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Mendez throws a body punch but Escobar moves out of range. Mendez throws a lazy uppercut
and Escobar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Escobar. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Mendez throws a right and a left that Escobar avoids nicely. Mendez stalks Escobar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Escobar's face. Escobar staggers backwards, shaken. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Escobar might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Mendez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Escobar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mendez thinking. Escobar is looking to wear down Mendez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mendez listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Escobar lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Escobar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mendez. Mendez throws a hook but Escobar avoids it easily. A punch combination from Mendez misses. Escobar shoots for a double leg takedown but Mendez sprawls well. He's pushed Escobar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Escobar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Escobar dodges the punch combination from Mendez.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Escobar throws a solid leg kick but Mendez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Escobar. Horrible takedown by Escobar or perhaps it was just good defense by Mendez which made him look bad. Mendez lands a jab-cross combination. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Escobar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mendez scores with a shot to the body.

Enrique Mendez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

A shot to the body from Escobar misses and Mendez counters with a nice uppercut. Escobar looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Escobar throws a head kick that Mendez semi-blocks.
Escobar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mendez. Some bone on bone action there as Mendez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Escobar tries to bum rush Mendez with a series of wild strikes but Mendez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Mendez. Those never looked like landing. Escobar misses the jab. Mendez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Escobar. Escobar misses with a series of wild punches.
Mendez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Escobar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Mendez thuds a left hand into Escobar's body. A jab from Mendez does it's job there. Mendez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Escobar.

Mendez pounces like a tiger and cracks Escobar with a vicious hook! Escobar is down but not out! Mendez follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

It looks like Miles Long has been cut. Long scores with a crisp jab that stopped Priebcko in his tracks. Priebcko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Priebcko leaves Long with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Long ducks under a wild hook from Priebcko. A big left from Priebcko misses. Long walks into a straight right hand from Priebcko. A clash of legs there as Long blocks the low kick. Long dodges the punch combination from Priebcko.

Priebcko misses the shot to the body. Priebcko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Long doesn't seem bothered though. Priebcko moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Long goes down! Can Priebcko finish him!?
Long is rocked! Priebcko arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Long's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Illianenko throws a front kick that sends Shrew stumbling back into the ropes. Illianenko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Shrew throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shrew jabbing away but nothing is landing. Illianenko misses with a two punch combination.
Illianenko misses with a straight left. Illianenko throws a right hand that Shrew ducks under and follows up with a left that Shrew also avoids with ease. Illianenko wants to clinch up but Shrew keeps it at a distance. Shrew scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Illianenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shrew ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Shrew sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Wooooo! Cabaret is looking for a triangle here but Artist uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Cabaret postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cabaret works over Artist with some ground and pound from guard.

Fortt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Givens manages to avoid it. Fortt scores with a jab to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
