Horrible takedown by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Hopo which made him look bad.

Hopo is looking for a kimura but Hart is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hopo to get the leverage.
Hopo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Boondocks moves out of range of the leg kick from Redman.

Redman thows a body shot but no joy.

Maynard shoots for a double leg takedown but Pacquiao sprawls well. He's pushed Maynard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pacquiao stalks Maynard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Maynard's face. Maynard staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close second round but I would say that Herman Pacquiao will probably get the nod.

Pacquiao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Pacquiao lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Maynard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Maynard covers up and Pacquiao unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
