14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanbei Shimada! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ferguson tries to clinch up. Shimada looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ferguson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shimada to the mat! Shimada manages to get full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ferguson throws an elbow that misses. Shimada uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ferguson's guard. Nice move by Shimada! Shimada missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Shimada controlling from the top position. Shimada trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferguson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shimada working some strikes from top position. Shimada postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shimada throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shimada won't allow Ferguson to get back to his feet. Shimada trying to control but Ferguson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shimada throws a big right hand that misses. Shimada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shimada trying to control but Ferguson is working from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Shimada is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ferguson defends well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shimada looking for a sweep. Not yet Shimada, not yet. Ferguson trying to control the position from guard on top but Shimada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ferguson advances to half guard. Shimada wants to control but Ferguson is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shimada is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Ferguson is staying active. Ferguson trying to control from half guard but Shimada is working away. Shimada is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Turd Ferguson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ferguson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shimada swivels and escapes. Shimada shoots in but no luck this time. Shimada connects with a body shot. Ferguson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ferguson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shimada tries to reverse the position but Ferguson maintains control. Ferguson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ferguson lands a nice shot to the head. Ferguson avoids the attempt from Shimada to control. Ferguson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Shimada's face.

Ferguson rolls with it to try and escape but Shimada cranks on the arm and Ferguson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bu lands with a good body shot. Bu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jablowme.
Bu misses with a wild body shot. Jablowme shoots in looking for a takedown. Bu tries to sprawl out of it but Jablowme keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jablowme fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jablowme avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jablowme misses with a takedown and Bu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lu Bu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haywood Jablowme. Jablowme shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bu as he avoids it easily. Jablowme has his takedown stuffed and Bu counters with a nice body shot. Bu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jablowme on the side of the head.

Possibly, maybe, no Jablowme has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bu is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jablowme is controlling him well.

Bu throws Jablowme to one side and escapes! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lu Bu dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bu connects with a solid leg kick. Jablowme slips under a jab from Bu. Bu feints and then cracks Jablowme's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jablowme down. A head kick misses from Bu. Jablowme shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bu counters with an inside leg kick. Jablowme shoots and misses and Bu counters with a nice body shot. Bu cracks Jablowme with an open hand slap. Bu tests Jablowme's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bu throws a series of punches but Jablowme avoids them all with ease. Jablowme on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Horrible takedown by Jablowme or perhaps it was just good defense by Bu which made him look bad. Lu Bu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haywood Jablowme.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jablowme tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jablowme somewhat. Jablowme moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jablowme is looking to clinch but Bu is avoiding it.

Jablowme throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Jablowme tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

It looks like Frankie Russo has been cut. Russo shoots and misses and Kuraba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kuraba keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kuraba thows a body shot but no joy. Kuraba scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Russo closes the distance and clinches up with Kuraba, looking for a takedown. Russo pushes Kuraba against the cage but Kuraba circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Russo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kuraba avoids it really well and circles away. Kenji Kuraba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Russo. Kuraba tries to bum rush Russo with a series of wild strikes but Russo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kuraba works the jab nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Russo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Russo counters with a left and a right that stings Kuraba. Russo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuraba finish him? I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kuraba has cracked Russo with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kuraba lands another huge swinging hook and Russo tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Russo, before Kuraba can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Advantage lands with a hook. Assassin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Assassin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Advantage! Advantage tries to hold on but Assassin pushes him away. Advantage gets back to half guard. Assassin prevents Advantage from standing back up.
Assassin seems to be working for a kimura but Advantage defends the submission attempt. Assassin is nestled in close to Advantage, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Assassin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Assassin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Assassin thows a huge punch but Advantage dodges it nicely.

Krigare misses with an uppercut. Kim fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Krigare bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kim's head. Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krigare. Kim throws a head kick that Krigare semi-blocks.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kim thows a body shot but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krigare. Kim moves out of range as Krigare strikes. Kim throws a series of punches but Krigare moves out of range. Krigare misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kim.
