4 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rolando Mann! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronaldo tries to land a front kick but Mann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Mann takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Ronaldo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mann manages to avoid it. Ronaldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Danga de danga de dang - Ronaldo scores with a four punch combination!
Mann is rocked! Ronaldo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Ronaldo finish him? Ronaldo tries a head kick but it misses.

Mann seems to have recovered his senses. Mann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ronaldo. Ronaldo obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mann tries to clinch there but Ronaldo circles away.

A chopping leg kick lands by Ronaldo. Ronaldo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Mann has a takedown stuffed. Mann looks to clinch and Ronaldo counters with a stiff right hand. Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Ronaldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mann wants to clinch but Ronaldo slips to the side and Ronaldo counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Mann badly! Ronaldo follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Mann out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Ronaldo finished him against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Romero. Romero fails to land with a series of punches.
Romero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bickens manages to avoid it. Bickens misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Romero.
Romero lands with a good body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Romero. Bickens bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bickens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bickens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bickens working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bickens is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Romero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bickens is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Romero is trying to escape and Bickens transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Romero is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bickens! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stan Bickens! In his post fight interview, Stan Bickens started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chapman II. James throws a body punch but Chapman II moves out of range. James punishes Chapman II's body with a nice straight punch. James lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James drops Chapman II with a left right combo! James follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Floyd Chapman II has been cut. James goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chapman II rolls with the submission and now he's on top in James's guard! Nice work there by Chapman II! Oh Chapman II is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chapman II doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chapman II manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chapman II throws a big elbow that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice body punch from James. Chapman II has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chapman II is defended easily by James. James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chapman II is breathing heavily. A nice leg kick lands there from James. James takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Chapman II avoids a punch combination nicely.
James is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Chapman II tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chapman II is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and James moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Harper thows a body shot but no joy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Speedman lands with a right and another and another! Harper is in big trouble! Speedman lands again and this time it's lights out for Harper! A quality knockout there for Speedman.

Skinner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Oliver closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Skinner quickly recovers to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Skinner tries to roll over but Oliver keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skinner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oliver is working away from the top position though. Oliver is keen to just control but Skinner is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver drops back, looking for a kneebar! Skinner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Skinner looks to have wriggled free... The crowd cheers as Limmen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Otubro doesn't seem phased though. Limmen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Limmen lunges at Otubro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Otubro's hand. Limmen looks to land a combination but Otubro avoids it well. Limmen jabs Otubro to the body, keeping him at a distance. Otubro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Otubro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Limmen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Otubro has Limmen in his guard. Otubro is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Limmen frees his head nicely. Oh but Otubro has switched to an armbar! Limmen is tapping furiously! Witt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nice strikes from Witt there. Witt is taking a breather. Toivo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Witt lands strikes from half guard. Witt winds up and cracks Toivo with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Witt is nestled in close to Toivo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
