The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rekka lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rekka moves out of range of the strikes. Rekka connects with a leg kick. The Hammer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jab by The Hammer. A head kick misses from Rekka. Rekka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on The Hammer. That did some damage! The Hammer lands a jab-cross combination. This has been an exciting period of action! A jab lands there for The Hammer. Nice body kick from Rekka. Rekka scores with a nice body kick.

It looks like Drop The Hammer has been cut. The Hammer throws out a loose jab but Rekka uses good head movement to avoid it. Rekka misses with a hook. Rekka tries to clinch up but The Hammer circles away and keeps his distance. Rekka throws a hook to the side of The Hammer's head but The Hammer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rekka thuds his shin into the meat of The Hammer's side. Rekka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The Hammer scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Good leg kick by Rekka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The Hammer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rekka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rekka blocks a jab. Rekka moves in looking to clinch but The Hammer pushes him off. Rekka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and The Hammer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rekka dodges the punch combination from The Hammer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Hammer misses with an uppercut. Rekka saw that one coming. Rekka fails in his attempt to clinch. Rekka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The Hammer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rekka cracks the inside of The Hammer's front leg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guy. Smith drops Guy with a beautiful combination! Guy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
It looks like New Tall Guy has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guy avoids a punch combination nicely.

Guy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guy gets slowly back to his feet. A leg kick checked by Guy. Guy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chancho Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for New Tall Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Smith lands a left and a right that send Guy crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Guy is rocked! Smith gets a clinch. Oh Guy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Smith lands with a short head shot on the inside. Smith struggles to land a body shot inside as Guy controls his hands.
A short left from Smith. Smith pushes Guy back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Guy jumps guard but Smith stands there with Guy around his waist. Guy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Smith unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Guy! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Smith is unloading with more strikes now! Guy drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sung Jung fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karamba manages to avoid it. Karamba shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sung Jung napping and manages to drive through into side control! Karamba in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Sung Jung is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Baz Karamba! Baz Karamba very nearly forgot to thank Hilo Clothing Co amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Fight Guy dips to his left and cracks Ekewaka with an uppercut! Fight Guy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ekewaka staying out of range there. Fight Guy throws a half hearted mid kick. Ekewaka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Fight Guy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ekewaka is out of range and Fight Guy settles back down. Ekewaka takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fight Guy gets caught flat footed, as Ekewaka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ekewaka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fight Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ekewaka on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ekewaka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fight Guy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ekewaka has Fight Guy in his guard. Fight Guy won't allow Ekewaka to sweep him here. Ekewaka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ekewaka throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ekewaka working for a triangle but Fight Guy defends it easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Boma. Beautiful body shot. Boma connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Lebeng closes the distance looking to clinch and Boma counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boma. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lebeng working a defensive guard here.
