The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ibragimov's half guard. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Ibragimov defends the submission attempt. Jones controlling the pace. Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ibragimov has managed to free his arm - good work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gladiator looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gladiator misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gladiator. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spartacus Gladiator. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gladiator tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gladiator misses with a head kick.
Gladiator fails with a takedown attempt. Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gladiator throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gladiator off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gladiator wants to clinch. Silva shoots and misses and Gladiator counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gladiator postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gladiator trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Gladiator is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control. Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gladiator. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gladiator is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Krilla feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Choake's calf. Choake misses with a takedown and Krilla counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Krilla stuffs the takedown attempt from Choake. Choake gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jermaine Choake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
