The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vortex throws a combination. Weston tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! No joy there for Weston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Weston throws a jab but it's blocked by Vortex. Weston throws a right and a left that Vortex avoids nicely. Some wild striking there from Weston.
Weston fails with a takedown attempt. Weston throws a lazy uppercut
and Vortex decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Weston's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Vortex looking to pass the guard. Vortex drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Weston dives on top into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Weston trying to control but Vortex is working from the bottom. Weston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. A big mistake from Vortex there, giving up the dominant position! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vortex avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Weston is looking to stand up but Vortex won't let him. Weston trying to control but Vortex is working from the bottom. Weston is really struggling to control Vortex but he's trying to hold on to the position. Weston wants to pass the guard but Vortex is keeping the position. Weston is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vortex.

Weston throws a combination that misses and Vortex makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vortex closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Weston quickly recovers to half guard. Weston is defending against the submission attempts here by Vortex.
Vortex wants to control but Weston is keeping him busy. Vortex seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Weston has recovered full guard. Vortex stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weston swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vortex passes easily into side control. Nice work. Vortex thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vortex goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Weston has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vortex but great work by Weston. Vortex is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Vortex is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Vortex tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Weston wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Weston decides to stand back up. Weston steps back and let's Vortex get back to his feet. Vortex is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Weston will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Vortex goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Weston throws a right hand that Vortex ducks under and follows up with a left that Vortex also avoids with ease. Vortex moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Weston swinging wildly here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A combination from Weston does no damage. Vortex throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vortex avoids the body shot from Weston.
Vortex throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Weston was covering up waiting for the punch and Vortex finishes the takedown easily into guard. Vortex trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vortex advances position into side control! Vortex goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Weston rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vortex's guard! Nice work there by Weston! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Venom Vortex showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Nice jab there from Vortex. Weston throws a nice looking combination but Vortex bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vortex lands a glancing blow to the side of Weston's head. Weston moves in looking to clinch but Vortex pushes him off. Weston leaves Vortex with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Weston misses with a double jab
and Vortex makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Vortex is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Weston misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Weston doesn't manage to clinch there - Vortex circles away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vortex, as that shot connected.
Vortex cracks Weston with an open hand slap. Vortex throws the left hand but Weston avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Weston misses. Weston throws a nice looking combination but Vortex bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Vortex digs a good body shot into Weston's ribs. Vortex with a nice cross. Vortex lands a really nice looking cross but Weston seems unphased.
Vortex scores a takedown into full mount! Vortex goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Weston turns into him and now he's in Vortex's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Weston decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vortex, up you get! Vortex scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Weston looks to score with a jab to the body but Vortex is just out of range. Vortex swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vortex can do anything to dispel that myth. Weston wants to stand and escape but instead Vortex has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Weston can't keep his opponent in guard - Vortex advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Vortex is looking for a kimura but Weston is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vortex to get the leverage. Vortex controlling the action here. Weston works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weston being controlled here, momentarily. Vortex must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Vortex trying to control but Weston is working from the bottom. Vortex stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weston swivels though and keeps the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
And that's the end of the fight! Venom Vortex comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Vortex has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Twice dives in and grabs Burn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burn pushes down on Twice's head and hops out. Twice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Twice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice straight punches there by Burn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Burn. Burn misses with a few strikes there.
Burn throws out a powerful jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Twice closes the distance looking to clinch and Burn counters with a right hand from hell and Twice is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Brown in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Neguera working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Eppinga turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Neguera off and cradles Eppinga's limp body as Neguera celebrates with his corner.

It looks like Braden Rush has been cut. A jab from Learmont finds it's way through Rush's defenses. Learmont leaves Rush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Learmont connects with a nice looking jab.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rush is defended easily by Learmont. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Braden Rush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rush takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Learmont digs a good body shot into Rush's ribs. Learmont cracks Rush with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Learmont lands a nice looking body shot.
A right-left combo lands from Learmont. Learmont cracks Rush with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Learmont has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rush to stand back up!

Braden Rush's cut is getting worse. Learmont plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Rush to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Rush just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Stephen Learmont decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Destroyer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Destroyer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Searing! Destroyer controlling from the full mount. Destroyer quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Destroyer but it's paid off an Searing is forced to tap! Nice work by Destroyer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fabjan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trussell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Trussell throws a looping overhand right but Fabjan ducks down to avoid it. A good leg kick by Trussell. Trussell with a hook. Fabjan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Trussell. Trussell scores with a decent looking hook.
Fabjan is rocked! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Trussell throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Fabjan is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Big shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Naar but Naar pushes him off and we're back to square one. Big rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Naar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Naar scores with a jab to the head.
Big fails with a takedown attempt. Naar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Naar wants it to stay on the feet. Tayron Naar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krille Big. Naar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Naar closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Big. Naar throws a nice outside leg kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Naar. Big shrugs it off though. A jab from Naar finds it's way through Big's defenses.
Big is rocked! Big is trying hard to land a takedown here. Naar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Big is still on wobbly legs! Can Naar finish him? Crunch! Naar slams his shin into Big's torso. Big looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Naar closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Big out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overslam throws a series of punches but Alonso moves out of range. Overslam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alonso circles away quickly and effectively. A jab from Overslam does it's job there.
It looks like Maxi Alonso has been cut. Alonso shoots for a double leg takedown but Overslam sprawls well. He's pushed Alonso's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Overslam throws a right and a left that both miss. Alonso showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Overslam.
Alonso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Overslam as he avoids it easily. Overslam stuffs the takedown attempt from Alonso. Alonso gets slowly back to his feet. Dante Overslam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxi Alonso. Alonso gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Overslam counters with a crisp one two that drops Alonso! Overslam thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Alonso to his feet! Alonso is in big trouble! This has been an exciting period of action! Overslam lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Alonso can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Overslam and Alonso drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Overslam.
