3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hugo Gracie! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gonzalez is looking for a sweep. Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gonzalez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gracie tries to advance to mount but can't. Gonzalez is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position. Gracie swings around for an armbar but Gonzalez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Gonzalez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gonzalez has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Gonzalez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Adams enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adams manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Adams throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Adams is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lee is looking to advance position but Adams has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Adams punching from mount but Lee doing a good job of avoiding damage. Adams wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely. Lee is looking to improve his position but Adams isn't that keen on the idea. Adams wants to control but instead Lee manages to regain half guard. Ironheart works McGillicutty's body with a nice hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A combination from McGillicutty does no damage. Ironheart rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McGillicutty counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ironheart is lucky that one didn't land flush. A slow jab from Ironheart misses its intended target.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres throws a big shot that misses. Torres looks to land a left hand but Pashurinko moved out of range nicely. Pashurinko thuds his right hand into Torres's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Torres lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Good leg kick by Torres there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Torres gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pashurinko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Torres is trying to defend but Pashurinko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Logan Harter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Caiaphas Caine! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caine moves out of range of the strikes. Caine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harter tries to avoid it but Caine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harter to the ground. Harter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Caine darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Logan Harter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Caine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harter defends it easily. Harter controls from within his opponent's guard. Caine has his foot on Harter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harter works his way back into a safe position though. Harter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harter chips away with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harter throwing strikes from guard but Caine blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Harter wants to control from the top but Caine keeps moving. Caine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harter defends it easily. Caine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Harter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Caine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harter's guard. Caine trying to control the position from guard on top but Harter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harter looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Caine throws a jab when Harter was well out of range. Caine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Caiaphas Caine has been cut. Caine struggling a bit here. Caine is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Harter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Caine wants to control but Harter is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Caine manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Caine is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harter defends well. Harter slips nicely into half guard. Harter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Caine wants to control but Harter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Caine looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Harter lands with a punch from half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harter in particular looking to stall. Caine wants to control but Harter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harter winds up and cracks Caine with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Caiaphas Caine's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
