Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Fierro.

It looks like Gary Bowman has been cut.

Bowman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fierro holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bowman tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bowman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fierro because Bowman loaded up on that one.
Bowman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Bowman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fierro can't escape the position.

Peleus clobbers Morton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Morton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Peleus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Rocky Morton has been cut.
Morton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Morton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Alexander Peleus has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peleus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peleus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Morton counters with a thumping low kick.
A combination from Morton does no damage.
Morton digs a good hook to Peleus's body.
Peleus smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Peleus fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Peleus drops Morton with a naaaaasty hook - Morton is in real trouble here! Peleus dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Alexander Peleus spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
