The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maniche tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Maniche swinging wildly here.
Maniche throws a leg kick but Cicero sees it coming and checks it nicely. Cicero keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Maniche. Cicero cracks Maniche with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A combination from Maniche does no damage. A chopping leg kick lands by Cicero. A punch combination from Maniche misses. Cicero slips a jab from Maniche. Cicero connects with a body shot. Maniche scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cicero cracks Maniche with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Maniche lands a nice hook to Cicero's body. Cicero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A head kick misses from Cicero. Maniche lands a slapping body shot.

Maniche gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cicero. Cicero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Paul Cicero is winning the standup battle so far. Cicero tries to land a leg kick but Maniche saw it coming and moves away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopkins gets caught flat footed, as Deimon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hopkins is trying to keep Deimon in close.
Deimon wants to control from the top but Hopkins keeps moving. Deimon is looking to work some ground and pound but Hopkins has wrist control. Deimon wants to stand but Hopkins is controlling his posture from full guard. Hopkins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Deimon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Phil Deimon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Deimon misses with a takedown attempt - Hopkins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Deimon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hopkins is fending him off so far but Deimon persists. Nope, Hopkins circles away and we're back to standing. The fighters circle momentarily. Hopkins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Deimon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hopkins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Deimon is lucky that one didn't land flush. Silas Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Deimon. Hopkins leaves Deimon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hopkins shoots in and bounces Deimon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hopkins stands up and waves to Deimon to follow him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Deimon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Deimon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Deimon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Deimon wants to control from the top but Hopkins keeps moving. Hopkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hopkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Deimon controls the pace.

Hopkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hopkins is looking to clinch but Deimon is avoiding it.
Deimon keeps the fight on the outside. Deimon closes the distance and clinches up with Hopkins, looking for a takedown. Deimon pushes Hopkins against the cage but Hopkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hopkins throws a head kick that misses. Deimon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopkins as he jumps to the side. Hopkins pushes Deimon up against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hopkins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Deimon is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hopkins is defending well. Deimon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Deimon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hopkins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hopkins manages to break the clinch.
Deimon swats away the attempt to clinch by Hopkins. A head kick misses from Deimon. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Deimon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hopkins tries to avoid it but Deimon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hopkins to the ground. Hopkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hopkins scores with a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hopkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hopkins works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Silas Hopkins will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hopkins tries to clinch but Deimon moves out of range. Hopkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hopkins is stalling here.

Deimon is rocked! Hopkins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Deimon is still on wobbly legs! Can Hopkins finish him? Hopkins lands with a left to the head. Deimon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Hopkins lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Deimon to his knees! Hopkins keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Giant wants to control but Haffa is keeping him busy. Haffa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Giant's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Giant's back! Haffa has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Giant has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Haffa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Haffa's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Giant connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Haffa scrambles back to his feet. Giant shoots in and drives through. Haffa sprawls well. Haffa throws a jab when Giant was well out of range. Haffa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Giant. Haffa misses with a right hand and Giant counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Giant takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Haffa lands a left hand that snaps the head of Giant backwards. Giant makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Haffa tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Giant avoids it. Giant has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Haffa after a bit of a struggle.
And that's the end of the fight! Aloisio Giant showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Giant, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suokuokka rushes Bera and presses him up against the cage. Bera manages to pull guard.
Suokuokka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bera swivels though and keeps the full guard. Suokuokka throwing strikes from guard but Bera blocks nicely. Bera working for a triangle but Suokuokka defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bera winds up and cracks Suokuokka with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Suokuokka avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bera. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pickervance has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A jab from Babcock misses. Babcock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pickervance. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pickervance.
Pickervance is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Babcock. Pickervance throws a hook to the side of Babcock's head but Babcock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Babcock tries to bum rush Pickervance with a series of wild strikes but Pickervance uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Babcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pickervance moves away. Pickervance tries to land a leg kick but Babcock saw it coming and moves away.

and Pickervance connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Babcock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Babcock thuds his right hand into Pickervance's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Babcock just misses with a punch to the body.

Babcock is looking to wear down Pickervance with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Babcock fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pickervance connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Babcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pickervance moves away. Pickervance lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babcock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pickervance pinned against the cage. Pickervance gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Babcock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Babcock throws a hook but Pickervance blocks it. Babcock takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Babcock has a takedown stuffed. Babcock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pickervance sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Babcock somewhat. Babcock chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pickervance can pounce on him.

Pickervance throws a half hearted mid kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Babcock uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pickervance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Babcock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pickervance napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pickervance sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bruce Babcock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pickervance trying to control but Babcock postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Percival Pickervance comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pickervance has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
