Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Adams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robin Convents! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Convents fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adams sprawls well initially but Convents persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Convents sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Adams defending well though. Adams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Convents is working away from the top position though. Convents thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Convents throwing shots but Adams is blocking nicely. Adams is concentrating on defense, preventing Convents from advancing position. Adams is trying to control but can't.
Convents trying to mount his opponent but Adams defends it. Convents is working for a kimura but Adams is defending it quite comfortably.
Adams is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Adams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Convents.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams kicks off Convents and gets to his feet. Robin Convents seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adams looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Adams stops Convents from standing up. Adams distracts Convents with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Convents trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Convents looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Adams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Convents manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Convents is trying to control but Adams passes into side control!
Adams cracks Convents with a big elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adams looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adams decides to take the fight back to the feet. Adams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Convents is trying to defend but Adams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Convents is staying active underneath Adams, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Convents tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Convents is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Adams scores with a couple of nice shots. Convents moves into full guard.
Adams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams misses with the combination.
Convents moves to clinch but Adams breaks away and Adams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Convents! Adams looking to control and managing it successfully. Convents is trying to reverse the position but instead Adams has taken his back - oops! Convents defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adams is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Adams gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Adams gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Adams apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Adams gets the takedown into side control. Adams staying calm. Convents is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Convents is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Convents looks to move to half guard but instead Adams has passed into mount! Damn! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Convents is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Adams dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Convents tries for a takedown but Adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Convents misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Convents moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off. Convents has taken the fight to the clinch.
Adams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Convents just stands there and leans against the cage. Convents fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Adams manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Adams manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Convents manages to get himself to full guard.
Adams wants to pass the guard but Convents is keeping the position. Adams trying to control but Convents is working from the bottom. Adams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Adams decides to take the fight back to the feet. Convents gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Adams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Convents is working an open guard so Adams takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Adams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Convents to stand up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Convents throws a sloppy head kick and Adams moves into the clinch. Convents prevents the takedown attempt.

Convents is posturing up here but Adams has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Convents tries to roll out but it's too tight and Convents has to tap! Slick submission there by Adams!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker moves into the clinch. Walker looking to throw knees to the head but Out is blocking nicely.

Out pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Walker tries to clinch and Out counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Walker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker wants to clinch but Out slips to the side and Out counters with a crisp right that sends Walker to the canvas! Out follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spartacus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Spartacus throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spartacus controlling from the top position. Spartacus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guerra works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Spartacus trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mr Spartacus wasn't doing enough on the ground. Spartacus throws a hook to the side of Guerra's head but Guerra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerra tries to clinch up letting Spartacus counter with a right hand. Spartacus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guerra sprawls well. Guerra wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spartacus gets slowly back to his feet. Guerra moves to clinch but Spartacus breaks away and Spartacus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Spartacus is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Guerra's half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Spartacus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Guerra's head. Guerra makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Spartacus feints and then cracks Guerra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guerra down. Guerra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guerra gets a clinch. Spartacus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spartacus misses the jab. Spartacus jabs Guerra right on the nose. Guerra blinks but takes it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spartacus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Guerra closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A jab from Spartacus does it's job there. Spartacus throws a hook but Guerra avoids it easily. Spartacus misses with a hook. Guerra tries to clinch but fails miserably and Spartacus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight stays on the outside here - Guerra looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Guerra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guerra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Spartacus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Guerra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Spartacus to counter with a crisp jab. Guerra tries to sprawl but Spartacus drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Guerra is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spartacus lands strikes from half guard. Guerra is still in real trouble! Can Spartacus finish him? Spartacus drops an elbow to the side of Guerra's head. Nice strikes from Spartacus there. Spartacus scores with a big shot! Guerra's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Guerra! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
