The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
De La Hoya turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hunt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hunt throws a looping overhand right but De La Hoya ducks down to avoid it.
Hunt works over De La Hoya's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Roger De La Hoya has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt throws out a leg kick but De La Hoya moves out of range and Hunt only half commits.
Hunt checks the leg kick nicely there.
The fight stays on the outside here - De La Hoya looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
De La Hoya misses with a low kick as Hunt jumps back.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from De La Hoya, right into the meat.
A head kick misses from Hunt.
Hunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hunt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hunt there as he acknowledges the shot.
De La Hoya steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hunt.
De La Hoya tries to clinch but Hunt is having none of it.

De La Hoya throws a leg kick which misses Hunt's front leg but catches the back leg as Hunt tries to avoid it.
De La Hoya chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hunt misses with a straight left.
Jab, jab by De La Hoya - just one landing.
De La Hoya feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hunt's calf.
Hunt is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
De La Hoya misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circle, before De La Hoya throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hunt's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! De La Hoya lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
