The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Listen scores with a head kick. Lambert tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Lee Lambert has been cut. Listen tries a head kick but it misses.
Listen's corner calls for a 1-2. Listen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Lambert lands a jab to Listen's midsection. Listen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lambert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Listen avoids it really well and circles away. Listen throws a sloppy head kick and Lambert holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lambert keeps control of Listen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Listen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lambert has him pressed against the cage. Listen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lambert shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Listen defends it nicely. Listen scores with a punch to the head.

Lambert is rocked! Listen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lambert to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lambert looks to clinch but Listen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lambert taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeFuria throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Basangur stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. DeFuria lands a nice shot to the body.
Basangur ducks right into an uppercut from DeFuria. DeFuria tests Basangur's chin there with a solid looking shot. DeFuria lands a left and a right that send Basangur crashing to the mat, dazed. DeFuria thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Abrak Basangur has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. DeFuria feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Basangur sprawling to the canvas! Basangur rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can DeFuria finish him?!
Basangur is still on wobbly legs! Can DeFuria finish him? Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. DeFuria moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Basangur! DeFuria continues to tee off on Basangur, landing with a left and a right! DeFuria connects with a right hand that leaves Basangur sleeping against the cage! What a finish by DeFuria!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grease St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Moti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Saigon - Desperado. Moti has chosen Also Sprach Zarathustra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Grease St Pierre! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Moti! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moti closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into St Pierre's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. St Pierre keeping full guard, as Moti tries to pass. St Pierre wants to sweep but no luck. Moti passes St Pierre's left leg - he's now in half guard. St Pierre works his way to full guard. Good work. St Pierre has his foot on Moti's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moti works his way back into a safe position though. Moti trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moti trying to control but St Pierre is working from the bottom. St Pierre seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. St Pierre is trying to control the position but Moti postures up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. St Pierre bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moti's guard. Moti looking for a guillotine here but St Pierre defends easily.

St Pierre is looking to take a break and control but Moti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. St Pierre is looking for a kimura but Moti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for St Pierre to get the leverage. Moti looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. St Pierre is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moti! Moti has given up his back.

St Pierre cracks Moti with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Moti from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Moti is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by St Pierre.

St Pierre is looking for the choke from the back position but Moti is controlling his hands well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. St Pierre is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Moti is defending well though. St Pierre let's go of the attempt for now. Moti tries to escape but St Pierre has the hooks in and won't let him break free. St Pierre trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Moti is squirming around, avoiding St Pierre's attempts to control the action. St Pierre scoring with strikes but Moti is staying in there. St Pierre trying to control but Moti is having none of it. St Pierre breaks from Moti's wrist control and lands an elbow. Moti is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Moti is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. St Pierre wants to control the pace but Moti is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! St Pierre scoring with strikes but Moti is staying in there. Moti is in all sorts of trouble here.

Moti tries to sprawl but St Pierre drives through with a takedown into half guard. Moti holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Moti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. St Pierre wants to take a breather but Moti is having none of it. Moti looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are battling for position here. Moti manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Moti escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. St Pierre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. St Pierre sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Moti's guard. Moti is looking to improve his position.
St Pierre is figuring out what he wants to do next. Moti is not content to let St Pierre control the position. Grease St Pierre overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre tries to pass to full mount but Moti defends it. Moti is in trouble now - St Pierre has advanced to mount! St Pierre trying to control but he's not successful this time. St Pierre with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moti as he jumps to the side. St Pierre lands a right hook to the body.

St Pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moti swivels though and keeps the full guard. St Pierre trying to control but Moti is working from the bottom. St Pierre is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. St Pierre wants to control from the top but Moti keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mallorca tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Souza counters with a right hand to the body. Mallorca gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Souza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Souza is pushing down on Mallorca's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mallorca is fighting to maintain full guard but Souza has managed to sneak the leg through. Souza has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mallorca defend it? Souza steps over the head and cranks it - Mallorca is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Souza!
