These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowe swinging wildly here.
Rowe slaps away a takedown attempt from Cabeltown, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rowe throws a right and a left that both miss. Rowe throws a series of punches but Cabeltown moves out of range. A head kick misses from Cabeltown. Cabeltown tries to clinch up and Rowe moves into the clinch. Rowe manages to pull guard.
Cabeltown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Cabeltown is posturing up here but Rowe has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cabeltown tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cabeltown has to tap! Slick submission there by Rowe!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Nunn! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jones scores with a shot to the body.
Jones swings for the body but Nunn moves out of range.
Nunn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sloppy strikes from Nunn. Those never looked like landing. Jones throws a hook but Nunn blocks it. Nunn tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Nunn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Nunn fails in his attempt to clinch. Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones throws a sloppy body shot
and Nunn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nunn tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Nunn pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. A head punch on the inside from Jones fails to land. Jones gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Nunn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones stands and throws Nunn's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nunn is not content to let Jones control the position. You can see the frustration on Nunn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Nunn manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time. Jones seems to be looking for submissions.
Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Nunn is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jones is working hard here to advance position. Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nunn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to advance to full mount but Nunn doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nunn is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nunn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones works over Nunn with some ground and pound from guard. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Nunn blocks nicely. Nunn keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones postures up and lands a big shot to Nunn's brow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derrick Jones dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Nunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nunn's head. Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Nunn is defending well.
Jones trying to advance position but Nunn counters by regaining guard. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws an elbow that misses. Nunn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Nunn! Nunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunn drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Nunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nunn keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass. Jones distracts Nunn with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Derrick Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nunn keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nunn is keeping the position for now. Nunn can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Nunn is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nunn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones. Jones wants to pass to mount but Nunn is defending the position. Nunn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nunn lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Nunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nunn stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.

Jones scores with a jab. Nunn acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nunn cracks the inside of Jones's front leg. Jones looks to land a right hand but Nunn moved out of range. Nunn wants to clinch. Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Nunn ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nunn tries to clinch up. Rocky Nunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nunn tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nunn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Nunn is just out of range. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nunn darts in trying to clinch and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nunn slips a straight right by Jones. A punch lands to the side of Nunn 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Nunn slips a jab from Jones. Nice defenses there by Nunn. Rocky Nunn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jones thows a left - swing and a miss! Nunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones throws a body punch but Nunn moves out of range. Nunn takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nunn catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nunn throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. The fight stays on the outside here - Nunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones throws the left hand but Nunn avoids the punch easily. Jones moves out of range as Nunn strikes. Nunn tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nunn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nunn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nunn misses with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nunn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nunn has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nunn closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Nunn pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nunn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Nunn's guard. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Nunn is retaining full guard. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Nunn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jones keeping moving, preventing Nunn from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Derrick Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nunn is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Nunn has managed to sneak the leg through. Nunn looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones keeping control of the position. Rocky Nunn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones is not content to let Nunn control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derrick Jones. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Bartley clinches up against the cage. Radden wants to get back to striking at distance but Bartley won't allow it.

Bartley stalks Radden and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Radden's face. Radden staggers backwards, shaken. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bartley connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Radden covering up! Bartley comes in with a big uppercut and Radden goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Barera has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Severson. Barera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Severson's waist but Severson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barera off to one side. Severson throws a sloppy head kick and Barera moves out of range easily. Barera keeps the fight on the outside. Severson fails in his attempt to clinch. Barera jabbing away but nothing is landing. Barera takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Severson throws a sloppy head kick and Barera moves out of range easily. Severson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Severson goes for a high kick. It partially lands. A head kick misses from Severson. Severson lands with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Severson moves in looking to clinch but Barera pushes him off. Severson throws a head kick that half lands.
Barera scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Severson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barera has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. No joy there for Barera, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Barera looks gassed! Severson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Severson scores with a head kick.
Severson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barera swats him away and circles back towards the center. Severson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Barera scores with a hook to the body. Severson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Severson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Barera if he has to take too many more of those.
Severson lands a head kick. Barera smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Barera misses with a jab, cross combination.
Barera has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Severson. Severson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Severson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Barera with a flurry of punches that miss. Barera would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Severson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Barera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Severson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Barera's hands. Barera is still on wobbly legs! Severson tries to clinch up but Barera circles away and keeps his distance. Barera rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Severson counters with a leg kick. Severson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Severson scores with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters circle, before Severson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Barera's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Severson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

It looks like Lars Ulrich has been cut. Kowski's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kowski duly obliges. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kowski cracks Ulrich with an uppercut from hell and Ulrich crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kowski's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kowski trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kowski trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ulrich's guard. Ulrich is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kowski defends well. Ulrich is trying to control the position but Kowski postures up. Ulrich preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kowski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Kowski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kowski distracts Ulrich with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Ulrich throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thomas lands a big head kick that sends Abdullah tumbling to the mat! Thomas takes a step backwards and waves Abdullah back to his feet - he wants the finish! Thomas dodges the punch combination from Abdullah.
Look low, kick high! Thomas uses the oldest trick in the book to send Abdullah tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Thomas is absolutely delighted - when Abdullah wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

It looks like Bruce Hoo Le Sheet has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Riggs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hoo Le Sheet is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Riggs rather than just go for the knockout. Riggs with a lazy takedown attempt and Hoo Le Sheet counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hoo Le Sheet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
