The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Eltsov doesn't seem bothered though. Santos ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Santos throws a hook to the side of Eltsov's head but Eltsov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Eltsov shoots in but no luck this time. Eltsov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eltsov off to one side. Santos throws a big shot that misses. Santos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eltsov moves away. Santos drops Eltsov with a right and a left! Santos comes rushing in but Eltsov regains his composure and manages to keep Santos in guard.

It looks like Viacheslav Eltsov has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Santos postures up.
Eltsov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Santos kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Eltsov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Santos makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Eltsov really felt that one! Santos works the jab nicely. Eltsov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Santos. Santos tried to score with a low kick but Eltsov checks it. Santos scores with a decent looking hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eltsov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santos swivels and escapes. Eltsov shoots in and drives through. Santos sprawls well. Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viacheslav Eltsov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Santos moves into the clinch. Eltsov is trying desperately to land a takedown but Santos is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Eltsov. Eltsov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Santos smiles and moves away.
Santos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Eltsov looks for a takedown but Santos sprawls well. Santos lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Santos steps into range and cracks Eltsov with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Eltsov flops backwards and Santos dives into his guard looking to finish!
Eltsov is still in real trouble! Can Santos finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Eltsov seems to have recovered his senses. Santos tries to free his leg and advance position but Eltsov is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eltsov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Santos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Eltsov can do to turn this around? Santos looking to pass the guard. Eltsov has his foot on Santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santos works his way back into a safe position though. Santos is looking to advance position but Eltsov has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eltsov controlling his opponent. Dos Santos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Viacheslav Eltsov has got the better of the ground game so far. Eltsov wants to control the pace but Santos is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Dos Santos showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Santos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stumpp has his takedown stuffed enabling Aleksander to counter with a crisp jab. Stumpp with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stumpp uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aleksander. Stumpp fails with a takedown attempt. Stumpp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aleksander sprawls well. Aleksander wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stumpp gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Stumpp. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aleksander lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Stumpp gets a clinch. Aleksander tries a body shot but Stumpp blocks it.

Stumpp will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Aleksander loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stumpp preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Aleksander throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stumpp works some decent striking defense from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stumpp is on top in guard.

Stumpp is putting a hurting on Aleksander here, landing some big shots from side control. Aleksander really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stumpp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aleksander can do anything to dispel that myth. Stumpp controlling the pace. Stumpp stops Aleksander from getting back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stumpp postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Aleksander looks a forlorn figure.

Stumpp can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Aleksander is looking to escape. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stumpp is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Aleksander has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Stumpp is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Aleksander to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Aleksander shrugs it off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aleksander is desperately trying to improve his position but Stumpp has a good base and remains in mount. Stumpp scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruslan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nakano defending well as Ruslan loads up on a big left hand. Good shot there by Ruslan. Ruslan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nakano momentarily.
Nakano takes one on the button. Ruslan misses with a body shot.
Ruslan misses with a straight right. Ruslan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Good exchange - Ruslan coming out on top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ruslan throws a lazy right hand but Nakano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ruslan is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nakano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ruslan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ruslan stops Nakano from passing to mount. Ruslan is trying to control Nakano's posture but Nakano avoids it. Nakano is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ruslan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

and Nakano counters with a nice body shot. Ruslan scores with a jab. Nakano acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ruslan thuds his right hand into Nakano's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ruslan connects with a right hand. Nakano shakes it off. Ruslan swings widly with a right hand
and Nakano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ruslan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nakano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nakano steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ruslan. Ruslan looks to throw the jab but Nakano is out of range. Ruslan misses with a telegraphed body shot
so Nakano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ruslan trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakano pushes down on Ruslan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Nakano passes to full mount! Ruslan wants to hold on but Nakano pushes him away. Nakano has hold of Ruslan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ruslan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakano looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ruslan is wriggling around trying to escape.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nakano has control of Ruslan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ruslan regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakano is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ruslan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ruslan regains half guard. Nakano is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ruslan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nakano. Ruslan is defending against the submission attempts here by Nakano.

That was a close round but I would say that Tatsuo Nakano will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ruslan stuns Nakano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nakano takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ruslan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ruslan throws a shot from downtown. Nakano moves away and avoids it. Ruslan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nakano back to the cage. Ruslan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Ruslan misses with a body shot.

Nakano misses with a shot to the body and Ruslan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ruslan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nakano. Nakano staying out of range there. Nakano slips a straight right by Ruslan. Nakano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nakano slips a jab from Ruslan. Nakano has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ruslan finds it's way round the side to connect with Nakano's head. Ruslan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nakano counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nakano has gone for a leg lock! Ruslan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nakano's guard. Ruslan distracts Nakano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ruslan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ruslan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nakano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nakano throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ruslan escapes and throws Nakano's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nakano is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ruslan scores with a couple of short elbows. Ruslan wants to control but Nakano is keeping him busy. Ruslan lands a few punches from side control. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pinto shoots in but Marrodona avoids the takedown attempt easily. Marrodona throws a right and a left that both miss. Marrodona shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pinto eats them both and turns towards Marrodona to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Marrodona lands with a straight right. Pinto didn't see that one coming. Marrodona goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Marrodona throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pinto.
