The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez lands a jab to Lenny's midsection. Rodriguez throws a nice looking combination but Lenny bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hurley Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lenny misses with a body kick. Rodriguez keeps the fight on the outside. Rodriguez rushes Lenny with punches - Lenny moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Lenny goes down! Rodriguez follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hurley Rodriguez! Hurley Rodriguez got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyamoto misses with a takedown attempt and Henderson counters with a straight right hand. Henderson throws a shot to the body.
Henderson lands with a nice combination. Miyamoto backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Shigeru Miyamoto has been cut. Nice jab there from Henderson. Henderson connects with a single shot there.
Miyamoto is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Henderson lands a nice hook to Miyamoto's body. Miyamoto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Some wild striking there from Henderson.

Henderson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Henderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Miyamoto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Henderson really wants to buck Miyamoto off and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miyamoto lands a nice shot to the head. Henderson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Henderson is rocked! Miyamoto postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Henderson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Miyamoto around the waist but Miyamoto pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Miyamoto is the winner by TKO! Miyamoto jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Diaz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A jab lands there for Diaz. A jab lands there for Diaz. Kosaka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diaz jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Diaz moves into range and connects with a jab. Nice sprawl there from Diaz as Kosaka shoots in. Diaz lands a jab-cross combination. Kosaka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Kosaka's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kosaka drops his hands momentarily and Diaz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kosaka shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense. Diaz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kosaka is rocked! Kosaka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Oh Kosaka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Diaz pulls Kosaka in to control the position. Kosaka seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kosaka drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Kosaka off! Kosaka jumps back into Diaz's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz is adopting a defensive guard.

Diaz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kosaka on the side of the head. Nice uppercut there from Diaz. Kosaka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Diaz lands with a straight right. Kosaka didn't see that one coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kosaka throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kosaka tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Diaz with a nice cross. Nice uppercut there from Diaz. Kosaka shoots in for a double leg but Diaz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kosaka wants to clinch. Yuki Kosaka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kosaka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Diaz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kosaka fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuki Kosaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kosaka on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Diaz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Diaz is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Kosaka like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Kosaka from another fist facial!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laniyan tries to clinch but Leepen is having none of it. Krisu Leepen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laniyan tries to clinch up. Laniyan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Leepen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Laniyan is in Leepen's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Leepen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Laniyan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Leepen manages to break the clinch.

Laniyan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Laniyan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Leepen's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laniyan wants to sweep here but Leepen controlling him for the moment. Leepen stands up over Laniyan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Krisu Leepen will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palumbo tries to bum rush Sweatpants with a series of wild strikes but Sweatpants uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Palumbo looks to land a combination but Sweatpants avoids it well. Palumbo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sweatpants, pushing him back against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Palumbo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Palumbo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sweatpants is trying to drag Palumbo to the mat but Palumbo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Palumbo is trying to push Sweatpants away but Sweatpants has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Palumbo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sentipiel is trying to control the action in half guard but Cordo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cordo is defending against the submission attempts here by Sentipiel.

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Sentipiel will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ray Sentipiel's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cordo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cordo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Cordo tries to clinch but Sentipiel is having none of it. Sentipiel blocks a head kick by Cordo.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Santiago Alvares! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruiz leaves Alvares with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Alvares shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ruiz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ruiz lands a nice short elbow. Alvares is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ruiz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Alvares tries to kick Ruiz off in order to stand up. Ruiz Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Ruiz in side control lands a decent elbow. Alvares tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ruiz presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Ruiz landing strikes, looking to finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alvares is desperately trying to improve his position but Ruiz has a good base and remains in mount. Alvares wants to control but Ruiz is having none of it.

Ruiz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alvares is looking to escape. Alvares regains half guard. Ruiz winds up and cracks Alvares with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ruiz works his way into side control. Ruiz trying to control the position but Alvares is working away. Ruiz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alvares taking shots to the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alvares can do anything to dispel that myth. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribera throws a body punch but Kunaida moves out of range. Jab, jab by Ribera - just one landing. Ribera lands a nice hook to Kunaida's body. Kunaida takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ribera lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kunaida throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ribera on the side of the head. Ribera throws a series of punches but Kunaida avoids them all with ease. Ribera blocks a jab. Kunaida lands a nice shot to the body.

Kunaida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ribera takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ribera feints a jab promting Kunaida to slip. Ribera then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kunaida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Masato Kunaida has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ribera moves out of range as Kunaida strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kunaida is rocked! Manny Ribera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kunaida glances at the clock... BAM! Ribera nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kunaida crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kunaida is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Manny Ribera! Manny Ribera retains his welterweight title! Manny Ribera looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'What, what, in his butt!'.
