0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez closes the distance but Chao moves to the side and Chao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Chao circles away from the clinch attempt.
A combination from Chao does no damage. Chao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A thudding body kick lands there by Chao!
Sanchez shoots in and drives through. Chao sprawls well.
Chao lands a big head kick that sends Sanchez tumbling to the mat! Chao takes a step backwards and waves Sanchez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Sanchez is rocked!
 It looks like Diego Sanchez has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chao cracks Sanchez with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shockner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gyros counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Shockner! Shockner wants to control but Gyros is having none of it. Gyros dominating with strikes here. Shockner is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shockner avoids a series of strikes thrown by Gyros.
Shockner is looking to improve his position but Gyros isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gyros controlling the pace for now. Shockner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gyros putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gyros is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shockner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Gyros is landing with some decent strikes but Shockner is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Gyros has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gyros sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gyros works his way into side control.  It looks like Greek Gyros has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Shockner engages and cracks Gyros with a massive lead left hook - Gyros tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Shockner is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker swats away the attempt to clinch by Nyberg. Nyberg leaves Parker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Nyberg sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nyberg lands with an uppercut that bounces Parker off the cage and back into range. Nyberg wants to clinch. Nyberg stuffs the takedown. Nisse Nyberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Parker.

Deans pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Beauvais back to the cage. Deans follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
 The cut above Travis Beauvais's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Beauvais throws a sloppy head kick and Deans moves out of range easily. Deans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deans is working the combinations to good effect here. Deans lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Deans leaves Beauvais with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Beauvais looks gassed! Deans throws a combination. Beauvais tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
 Travis Beauvais's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Snake is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Winfield flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Winfield is out cold! Snake holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
