The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Dowe. Dowe throws a right hand that Bag ducks under and follows up with a left that Bag also avoids with ease. Dowe tries to clinch and Bag counters with a head kick that drops Dowe to the mat! Dowe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Dowe is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bag gets a big slam - oh, Dowe is out! Dowe is out! That's a nasty KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kittens shoots for a double leg takedown but Mitchell sprawls well. He's pushed Kittens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mitchell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kittens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mitchell swivels and escapes. Mitchell misses with a wild body shot. Kittens has managed to clinch.
Kittens has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mitchell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hunter Mitchell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fluffy Kittens. Kittens successfully pulls guard.
Mitchell stopping the sweep attempt from Kittens. Kittens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mitchell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kittens is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kittens is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mitchell is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spudd darts in and clinches Chazinski up against the cage. Chazinski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chazinski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Spudd scores with a hook to the body. Spudd pressing his opponent against the cage. Spudd misses with a body punch.
Chazinski tries to break free but Spudd pushes him back against the cage. Spudd goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chazinski prevents it.
Spudd turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Spudd manages to end up in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spudd trying to control the action but Chazinski is working from the bottom. Chazinski throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Spudd stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chazinski. A big right from Chazinski misses. Chazinski bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Spudd's head.
It looks like Horse Spudd has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Chazinski throws a low kick but Spudd moves out of range easily. A combination from Chazinski does no damage. Chazinski swings for the body but Spudd moves out of range.
Spudd tries to clinch there but Chazinski circles away.
Chazinski lands with a good body shot. Chazinski stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chazinski throws a right hand that Spudd ducks under and follows up with a left that Spudd also avoids with ease. Spudd avoids the body shot from Chazinski.
Chazinski misses with a body punch
and Spudd holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Chazinski manages to break the clinch.
Chazinski throws a jab but it's blocked by Spudd. Spudd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chazinski is fending him off so far but Spudd persists. Nope, Chazinski circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Horse Spudd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chazinski lands with a shot to the body. Spudd is breathing heavily. Chazinski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Borislav Chazinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spudd takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Chazinski lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Spudd goes down and covers up as Chazinski starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helord tries to clinch but Rua moves away so Rua counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rua sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Helord's guard. Helord is refusing to be controlled, as Rua sits in half guard. Helord is looking to control Rua's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Helord avoid being mounted? Rua seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Helord does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Helord looking for submissions off his back. Still in half guard, Rua seems content to control. Rua trying to control from half guard but Helord is working away.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Frank Rua wasn't doing enough on the ground. Rua looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rua postures up.
Rua decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rua shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Helord is trying to defend but Rua finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rua controlling the action here. Rua trying to control the action but Helord is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua trying to pass the guard but Helord defending well. Helord wants to control but Rua is keeping busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rua moves nicely into side control. Helord is not content to let Rua control the position. Rua decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rua trying to control the position from guard on top but Helord is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helord has his foot on Rua's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rua works his way back into a safe position though. Rua trying to control but Helord is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Helord working for a triangle but Rua defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Helord preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rua not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rua passes easily into side control. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rua tries for a kimura but Helord is defending well. Rua is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Helord has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Rua dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Helord fails in his attempt to clinch. Rua scores a takedown into full mount! Rua can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Helord is looking to escape. Rua lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Rua trying to control but Helord is having none of it. Rua is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Helord uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rua.
Rua connects with a crisp jab. Rua closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Helord quickly recovers to half guard. Rua wants to take a breather but Helord is having none of it. Rua looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rua is looking for a kimura but Helord is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rua to get the leverage. Rua decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Helord is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Rua gets off balance looking for a body kick and Helord counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rua actively working from the bottom here. Rua is looking to improve his position.
Rua is trying to control but can't.
Rua is looking for a sweep. Helord is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Helord not landing any meaningful shots this time. Helord is working for a kimura but Rua is defending it quite comfortably.
Helord wants to pass the guard but Rua is defending well. Helord prevents Rua from improving his position. Helord really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Helord tries to pass to full mount but Rua defends it. Frank Rua overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Helord is working for a kimura here but Rua manages to reverse the position and he's now in Helord's guard.
Rua working some strikes from top position. Helord keeping moving, preventing Rua from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helord looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rua passes into side control.

Helord is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rua pulls his head out easily. Rua wants to work for an arm triangle but Helord is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helord is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rua is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Rua get's back to his feet. Helord tries to clinch up but Rua circles away and keeps his distance. Frank Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rua drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rua loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Helord looking for a sweep. Not yet Helord, not yet. Rua decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Helord, up you get! Rua tries to clinch up. Rua avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rua closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Helord did well to prevent Rua getting side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Helord wants to get back to full guard. Rua is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Helord has managed to free his arm - good work. Rua lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is trying to control. Helord wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rua looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Helord with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rua throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Helord is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rua pulls his head out easily. Helord takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Helord is trying to get back to full guard. Rua is keen to just control but Helord is a slippery customer. Rua passes to side control. Rua looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua decides to take the fight back to the feet. Rua shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Helord is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rua pulls his head out easily. Lore Helord has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Frank Rua is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helord punching from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Rua showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rua has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Cade's jab looks to have found its range, popping McGuire under the eye. A punch lands to the side of Cade 's head but he takes it in his stride. Cade fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. McGuire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cade manages to avoid it. McGuire misses the shot to the body. McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cade moves away. McGuire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cade shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Cade fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cade throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

McGuire cracks Cade with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Cade misses the shot to the body. Cade throws a shot from downtown. McGuire moves away and avoids it. Cade throws a hook but McGuire blocks it. McGuire cracks a nice hook into Cade's ribs. McGuire is looking to wear down Cade with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McGuire throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cade's waist but Cade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGuire off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Briar McGuire. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cade is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McGuire. McGuire missing with a left hand there. Cade was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cade misses with an uppercut. McGuire saw that one coming. McGuire stuns Cade with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

A head kick by Cade misses and McGuire counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cade tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGuire scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. McGuire throws a hook but Cade avoids it easily. Cade dips to his left and cracks McGuire with an uppercut! Cade is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McGuire. Cade takes a swing at McGuire's ribcage but misses. Cade ducks right into an uppercut from McGuire. Cade punishes McGuire's body with a nice straight punch. Cade throws out a leg kick but McGuire moves out of range and Cade only half commits. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cade throws a low kick but McGuire avoids it. Cade throws a lazy uppercut
and McGuire counters with a slapping leg kick. McGuire avoids the head kick by Cade.
Cade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McGuire throws a body punch but Cade moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Briar McGuire will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Good shot there by McGuire. Cade motions for McGuire to come forward. Cade throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cade misses with a few strikes there.
Cade finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Briar McGuire is winning the standup battle so far. A left lands for McGuire. Cade throws a leg kick and Cade takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A low kick from Cade misses letting McGuire counter with a right hand. McGuire moves away from the strike by Cade. Cade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McGuire manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McGuire slips under a jab from Cade. McGuire throws a shot to the body.
McGuire blocks a low kick nicely. Cade takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cade throws a low kick but McGuire avoids it. McGuire fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lyons cracks Rebel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rebel with a poor takedown and Lyons cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rebel misses with a takedown attempt and Lyons counters with a straight right hand. Rebel misses with a takedown attempt letting Lyons counter with a right hand. Rory Lyons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Rebel.
