Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cian McGarrity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGarrity comes to the cage accompanied by Irish Fighting Song - We Come in Pieces. Cian McGarrity had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Harper tries to clinch up but Comet circles away and keeps his distance.
Harper jabs Comet right on the nose. Comet blinks but takes it well.
Harper buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Comet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Comet rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Comet takes the fight into the clinch.
Comet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Comet throws a powerful right kick. Harper tried to block low but the kick was high! Harper was taken right off of his feet! Comet jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
