Fisherman thumps Johnson with a low kick.
Johnson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Johnson lands a jab.

Fisherman gets a double leg takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson has control of Fisherman's left arm, preventing Fisherman from doing any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fisherman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Johnson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fisherman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Johnson pulls down on the head and he's put Fisherman to sleep! This one is all over!

Dawson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dawson throws a leg kick but Kuksugare sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dawson throws a head kick that Kuksugare semi-blocks.
Kuksugare swats away the attempt to clinch by Dawson.
Dawson tries for a takedown but Kuksugare sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kuksugare doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Dawson.

Kuksugare decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dawson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Kuksugare manages to mount him!

Dawson has left one of his arms exposed and Kuksugare doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Dawson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

A very excited looking Dana Kuksugare rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Picker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pain is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pain flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Picker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pain and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Picker slips an arm under Pain chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Picker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Picker is squeezing on Pain like an anaconda would it's prey. Pain fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Everlast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jean Marie Mubiala!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everlast misses with a right hand
and Mubiala counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mubiala bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mubiala misses with a low kick.
Mubiala closes this distance looking for a takedown but Everlast circles away.
Mubiala pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Everlast moves out of range of the leg kick from Mubiala.
Mubiala with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fighters circling - Everlast throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mubiala thuds his shin into the meat of Everlast's side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Everlast. Mubiala does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mubiala scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Everlast avoids a kick to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mubiala. That's going to slow Everlast down.
Mubiala throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Everlast throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mubiala tries to land a front kick but Everlast steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mubiala throws out a leg kick but Everlast moves out of range and Mubiala only half commits.
Mubiala tries a low kick but Everlast avoids it.
Everlast thows a body shot but no joy.
Mubiala misses with a kick to the body.
That kick from Mubiala tenderised Everlast's leg. Everlast is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mubiala sizes up Everlast with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mubiala lands a head kick!
Mubiala lands with a kick to the temple. Everlast shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mubiala throws a head kick but Everlast moves out of range.
Everlast throws a right hand that Mubiala ducks under and follows up with a left that Mubiala also avoids with ease.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mubiala slips under a jab from Everlast.
Mubiala fakes the leg kick and cracks Everlast in the body.

Everlast moves out of range of the body kick.
Mubiala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Everlast missing with a left hand there. Mubiala was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sloppy strikes from Everlast. Those never looked like landing.
Mubiala pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mubiala lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Everlast blocks a head kick by Mubiala.
Everlast misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mubiala.
Everlast throws the left hand but Mubiala avoids the punch easily.
Mubiala dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Everlast. That did some damage!

Everlast takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Mubiala looks for the body kick but Everlast saw that one coming.
Mubiala pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Mubiala lands a big head kick that sends Everlast tumbling to the mat! Mubiala takes a step backwards and waves Everlast back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Everlast is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mubiala fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Everlast has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Everlast is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mubiala fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Everlast is breathing heavily.
Everlast takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jean Marie Mubiala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Mubiala.
Mubiala fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Everlast.
Mubiala lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Everlast up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Mubiala from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Everlast's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jean Marie Mubiala!
