The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens is trying hard to land a takedown here. McGully sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No joy there for McGully, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGully rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Owens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good leg kick by Owens there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Owens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGully circles away quickly and effectively.
Owens throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGully's waist but McGully gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Owens off to one side.
