With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Davola!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davola takes a swing at Kongo's ribcage but misses.
Kongo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Davola scores with a nice body kick.
Davola lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Davola scores with a kick to the midsection.
Davola feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kongo's calf.
Kongo is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kongo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Davola connects with a nice looking jab.
Davola misses with a low kick.
Davola misses with a jab to the body
and Kongo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Davola tries a low kick but Kongo avoids it.
Kongo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Davola avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Davola misses with a body shot.
Kongo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Davola.
Davola misses with an uppercut.
Davola lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Davola throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kongo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davola.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kongo takes one to the chin there.
Davola buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Davola throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Davola throws a series of punches but Kongo moves out of range.
A solid body kick from Davola.
Davola is looking to land body kicks.
Davola fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kongo at a distance.
Davola jabs at Kongo's body.
Kongo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davola.
Davola throws out a powerful jab.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Davola - that will leave a mark!
Joe Davola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Davola.
Kongo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Davola.
Davola misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Davola.
Kongo defending well as Davola loads up on a big left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davola thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kongo if he has to take too many more of those.
Davola cracks the inside of Kongo's front leg.
Davola bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kongo's head backwards.

Davola sends Kongo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Davola is motioning to the referee to let Kongo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kongo is rocked!

Davola drops Kongo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kongo looks back up at him and smiles so Davola waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Kongo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davola closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Kongo out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
