 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalinin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Serbe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Serbe tries to buck Kalinin off but Kalinin is having none of it.
Kalinin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kalinin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalinin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Serbe has escaped the position, nice work there. Serbe is trying to buck Kalinin off. Serbe stops Kalinin from passing to mount.
Kalinin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Serbe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalinin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Serbe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Serbe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalinin on the ground.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simpson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Popoyan's hands.
 It looks like Serg Popoyan has been cut. Popoyan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simpson to score with a decent uppercut. Simpson ducks right into an uppercut from Popoyan.
 It looks like Bart Simpson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Simpson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Popoyan misses with a wild body shot. Popoyan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Simpson. Popoyan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simpson to score with a decent uppercut. Popoyan misses with a hook. Simpson ducked under it nicely. Popoyan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Simpson just misses with a punch to the body.
Simpson lands with a right hand. Bart Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Popoyan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Simpson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Popoyan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Simpson scrambles back to his feet. Simpson scores with the left hand. Popoyan knows he should have avoided that one. Popoyan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Popoyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Popoyan moves away from the strike by Simpson. Simpson avoids the head kick by Popoyan.
Popoyan throws a sloppy head kick and Simpson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Simpson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Popoyan was well out of range. Poor timing from Simpson. Popoyan walks into a jab.

 Popoyan is rocked! Popoyan takes a swing at Simpson's ribcage but misses. Simpson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Popoyan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into p�t�. Simpson blocks a jab. Simpson avoids the head kick by Popoyan.
Simpson thows a body shot but no joy. Simpson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Popoyan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Popoyan is breathing heavily. Simpson works Popoyan's body with a nice hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Popoyan misses with a head kick.
Simpson stuns Popoyan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Simpson works Popoyan's body with a nice hook. Simpson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Popoyan's head. Simpson jabs Popoyan to the body, keeping him at a distance. Simpson lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Askaraliev with a poor takedown and Zivic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zivic moves into range and connects with a jab. Horrible takedown by Askaraliev or perhaps it was just good defense by Zivic which made him look bad. Askaraliev on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Good standup being displayed there by Zivic as he connects with a hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zivic slaps away a takedown attempt from Askaraliev, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bekjan Askaraliev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Askaraliev tries to move into range but Zivic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Zivic moves into the clinch. Askaraliev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zivic after a bit of a struggle. Askaraliev is trying to drag Zivic to the mat but Zivic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Askaraliev is breathing heavily. Zivic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Askaraliev.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Zivic scores with a nice short uppercut. Askaraliev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zivic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Zivic unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Askaraliev! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Zivic is unloading with more strikes now! Askaraliev drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Kvasov ducks under a wild hook from Sedo. Sedo wants to slow Kvasov down by chopping away at his legs. Sedo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sedo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oooooh!!! Kvasov has knocked Sedo down with a huge combo! Kvasov steps away and waves a wobbly Sedo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

 It looks like Rex Sedo has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. An inside leg kick lands from Kvasov. Oh Sedo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kvasov misses with a head kick.

Sedo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kvasov. Kvasov circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sedo seems to have got his legs back now. Kvasov finds Sedo's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Sedo flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kvasov lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Sedo will be OK.

Nevsky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zhirinovsky was covering up waiting for the punch and Nevsky finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nevsky postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zhirinovsky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nevsky, into his guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo throws out a powerful jab.
 It looks like Kiyoshi Tamura has been cut. A big left from Tamura misses. Bravo clobbers Tamura with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bravo misses with a hook. Tamura ducked under it nicely. Bravo cracks Tamura with a good jab. Bravo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bravo ducks under a wild hook from Tamura. Bravo misses with a wild combination.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pushkar tries to bum rush Yip Man with a series of wild strikes but Yip Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A chopping leg kick lands by Yip Man. Pushkar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yip Man moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pushkar lands a jab to the nose. Pushkar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yip Man circles away quickly and effectively. A punch lands to the side of Pushkar 's head but he takes it in his stride. Yip Man will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pushkar shoots and misses and Yip Man counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Sloppy strikes from Yip Man. Those never looked like landing. Pushkar throws a right and a left that both miss. Yip Man scores with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Yip Man tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Yip Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pushkar as he jumps to the side. Yip Man lands with a cross. Yip Man avoids the body shot from Pushkar.

Pushkar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Yip Man is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pushkar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pushkar has escaped and now he's on top! Pushkar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Pushkar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Yip Man throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pushkar wants to stand but Yip Man is controlling the position. Yip Man passes into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pushkar is staying active underneath Yip Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Yip Man is stalling here. Pushkar is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yip Man seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pushkar has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pushkar is looking to take a break and control but Yip Man is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pushkar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yip Man's waist but Yip Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pushkar off to one side. Grand Master Yip Man is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yip Man keeping moving, preventing Pushkar from controlling successfully. Pushkar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Yip Man throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pushkar escapes and throws Yip Man's legs to the side, diving into side control! Pushkar trying to control the action but Yip Man is working from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Yip Man parries the strikes from Pushkar easily there. Pushkar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Yip Man to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. An elbow from Pushkar crashes against the mat.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tessenji Fuuhaku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Kopylov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuuhaku throws a head kick that Kopylov semi-blocks.
Kopylov throws a lazy right hand but Fuuhaku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kopylov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fuuhaku eats them both and turns towards Kopylov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A slapping body kick lands there for Fuuhaku. Kopylov misses with a wild body shot. Kopylov throws a body kick the misses and Fuuhaku counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 It looks like Vladimir Kopylov has been cut. Fuuhaku throws a quick inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.  Kopylov is rocked! Fuuhaku drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kopylov right on the button. Kopylov goes down! Fuuhaku follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fuuhaku gets the win via TKO!
