The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ject lands a slapping body shot.
Ject rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wade shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ject pinned against the cage. Ject gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Good work by Wade as he checks the leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Ject.

Ject drops Wade with a beautiful combination! Wade stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ject is looking for the KO!

It looks like James Wade has been cut.

Ject connects with a single shot there.

That has opened up James Wade's cut even more.
Wade tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ject sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wade somewhat.
Wade closes the distance and clinches up with Ject, looking for a takedown. Wade pushes Ject against the cage but Ject circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ject swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ject dips to his left and cracks Wade with an uppercut!
Nice takedown defense from Ject. No joy for Wade on that attempt.

Ject feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wade sprawling to the canvas! Wade rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ject finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wade loses concentration momentarily and Ject pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Wade crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ject finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
