The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herer looks to land a left hand but Yi moved out of range nicely. Yi misses with a few strikes there.
Yi moves away from the strike by Herer. Herer throws an overhand right that lands on Yi's shoulder, as Yi tries to avoid the shot. No joy there for Yi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Herer shoots for a takedown but Yi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Herer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yi to the ground. Herer is now in Yi's guard. Grey punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

After the fight, Key Zai Boah was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Well stuffs the takedown. Shaco fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Well scores with a nice right hand.
Shaco dives in and grabs Well's left leg, looking for a takedown. Well pushes down on Shaco's head and hops out. Bruce Well has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Asylum Shaco. Shaco closes the distance and clinches up with Well, looking for a takedown. Shaco pushes Well against the cage but Well circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Asylum Shaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Well lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shaco circles away quickly and effectively. Shaco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Shaco misses with a takedown attempt and Well counters with a nice body shot. Shaco looks gassed! Nice body punch from Well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Well wants it to stay on the feet. Well fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shaco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Shaco takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Well wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Shaco walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Well is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Well scores with a jab to the body. Well lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Well cracks Shaco with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vahid Mashhadi! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mashhadi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Maddo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Waiyu Maddo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maddo slips a straight right by Mashhadi. Maddo throws a hook but Mashhadi blocks it. Maddo throws a body punch but Mashhadi moves out of range. Mashhadi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Maddo cracks the inside of Mashhadi's front leg. Mashhadi needs to keep his hands up - Maddo had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Vahid Mashhadi has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maddo throws a sloppy head kick and Mashhadi moves out of range easily. Mashhadi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Maddo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Maddo throws a lazy uppercut
and Mashhadi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Maddo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mashhadi if he has to take too many more of those.
Mashhadi looks gassed! A decent looking body kick lands there for Maddo. Maddo scores with a push kick. Maddo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mashhadi at a distance.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Maddo, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mashhadi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Maddo swings for the body but Mashhadi moves out of range.
Mashhadi blocks a head kick by Maddo.
Maddo throws the kick towards the body but Mashhadi avoids it. Maddo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mashhadi. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maddo lands a big head kick that sends Mashhadi tumbling to the mat! Maddo takes a step backwards and waves Mashhadi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mashhadi is rocked!
That has opened up Vahid Mashhadi's cut even more. Are you kidding me?! Maddo ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mashhadi clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Schmoe! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schmoe keeps the fight on the outside. Saito wants to clinch up but Schmoe keeps it at a distance. Joe Schmoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Schmoe.
Saito checks a leg kick. Schmoe tries to work over Saito's front leg with a kick but Saito checks it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Schmoe. Schmoe misses the shot to the body. Schmoe rushes Saito and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Schmoe breaks the clinch.
Saito scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Schmoe manages to get back to half guard. Saito is trying to work for a kimura but Schmoe is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Saito looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Schmoe tries to kick Saito off but Saito keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schmoe is looking for a sweep. Saito is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Saito uses his free foot to push down on Schmoe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Schmoe. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schmoe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Schmoe is in a horrible position here. Saito smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schmoe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Schmoe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Schmoe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saito is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Saito is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Schmoe wants to get back to full guard but Saito has passed into side control. Schmoe takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Schmoe is looking to reverse the position. Saito advances to full mount. Schmoe is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The referee warns Schmoe that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saito working Schmoe over with strikes here.
Schmoe is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Saito! Schmoe is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Jane is looking to slow Gragas down with leg kicks. Gragas is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gragas. Jane throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Gragas crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
