Castle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cruz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Castle is in Cruz's guard.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Boy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Crim throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Boy's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Crim dives in looking to finish as Boy flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Crim's strikes! Crim is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Boy's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Boy was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
