Mesopyan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cavalcante sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mesopyan somewhat.

Mesopyan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Matos is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gomes flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gomes is out cold! Matos holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

After the fight, Charles Matos was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Dragic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hug has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Good leg kick by Dragic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dragic cracks Hug with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dragic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hug to stand back up!

Hug walks straight into a right hand from Dragic - that's dropped him! Dragic jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hug from any more punishment! Hug complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A less than humble Dragan Dragic misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
