Fertus stuffs the takedown.

Fertus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lashley on the side of the head.

Bobby Lashley's cut is getting worse.
Lashley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fertus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

McBride shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but McBride keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanchez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McBride's efforts to push away.
McBride wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sanchez has him pressed against the cage.

McBride stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Sanchez has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! McBride manages to get his head free but now Sanchez has transitioned to an armbar! McBride grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Sanchez! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Daddy shoots in for a takedown but Bonnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hoosier Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bonnar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

He only made it down to 186.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lister closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hosea looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lister is looking for a kimura but Hosea is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lister to get the leverage.
Lister is looking to advance position but Hosea won't allow it.

Lister stands up from half guard.
Lister lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Lister manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hosea on his heels. He'll look to pass Hosea's guard now, I'm sure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lister is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dean Lister.
Lister shoots in looking for a takedown. Hosea tries to sprawl out of it but Lister keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hosea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lister has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hosea is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lister has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hosea is looking to defend but Lister has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hosea! Lister pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hosea taps out and this one is all over!

Herdy throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Leocadio looks gassed!
That kick from Herdy tenderised Leocadio's leg. Leocadio is trying to keep his angry face on.
Herdy digs a good hook to Leocadio's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Herdy lands a brutal head kick. Leocadio looks out on his feet and Herdy throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
