The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morais fails with the takedown and Lewicki counters with a single leg into guard. Morais didn't expect that. Lewicki is stalling in the full guard. Lewicki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morais on the ground. Morais pushes a forearm under Lewicki's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lewicki is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn misses with a hook. Che Che ducked under it nicely. Che Che misses with a straight left. Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Che Che was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn. Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Che Che moves away. BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab lands there for Che Che. Che Che throws a hook but Penn avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Penn.

Penn jabbing away but nothing is landing. Penn looks to score with a jab to the body but Che Che is just out of range. Excellent takedown into side control there by Che Che. Penn wants to get back to his feet but Che Che drags him back down. Che Che tries to move into full mount but can't pass Penn's legs. Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Che Che. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Penn defending against the ground and pound. Che Che trying to control the position but Penn is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Che Che wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Penn, who protects the arm well. Penn wants to get back to his feet but Che Che drags him back down. Che Che tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Che Che has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The strikes coming from Che Che are missing the target in this wave of attacks. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Penn can do anything to dispel that myth. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Che Che wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Penn, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Che Che advances nicely into full mount. Che Che trying to control but he's not successful this time. Che Che goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Penn is on top in guard.

Penn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Che Che is tightening it up a little... Penn has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Penn reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Penn taps out! Nice BJJ there by Che Che!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woitek looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Woitek looks to land a right hand but Hewitt moved out of range. The fighters circling - Woitek throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hewitt blocks a jab. Hewitt takes a swing at Woitek's ribcage but misses. Hewitt rushes Woitek and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Woitek pulls Hewitt into guard.
Woitek wants to get back to his feet but Hewitt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hewitt wants to stand but Woitek is controlling his posture from full guard. Woitek wants to stand up but Hewitt is controlling him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woitek drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hewitt dives on top into guard. Woitek looks gassed! Woitek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hewitt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Woitek, up you get! Hewitt digs a good body shot into Woitek's ribs. Woitek misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hewitt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Woitek throws out the jab. Good exchange - Hewitt coming out on top. The fight stays on the outside here - Hewitt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Woitek throws a big shot that misses. Hewitt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Woitek.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hewitt lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Hewitt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Woitek.
Donk. Hewitt catches Woitek right on the button with a cross. Woitek connects with a body shot that sends Hewitt's belly button to the back. Hewitt connects with a body shot that sends Woitek's belly button to the back. The fight moves into the clinch position. Woitek drags the fight down to the ground.
Woitek is working an open guard so Hewitt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Woitek misses with a double jab
and Hewitt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hewitt is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Woitek misses with a body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bang throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bang moves into the clinch. Bang tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kolesnichenko avoids it. Bang gets through Kolesnichenko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bang throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kolesnichenkos head. Kolesnichenko stalling in the clinch but Bang improves position. Kolesnichenko can't get the takedown.
Bang prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bang lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Bang lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kolesnichenko backwards. Bang works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kolesnichenko looking for a sweep. Not yet Kolesnichenko, not yet. Bang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ali Bang. Bang punishes Kolesnichenko's body with a nice straight punch. Bang rushes Kolesnichenko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bang dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Bang presses Kolesnichenko against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kolesnichenko tries to score a body lock takedown but Bang shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ali Bang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denis Kolesnichenko. Bang scores with a shoulder strike. Bang is struggling to control the position. Bang landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Bang trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bang is really struggling to control Kolesnichenko but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ali Bang dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bang closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kolesnichenko! Bang dives in looking to finish! Kolesnichenko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

and Keyes counters with a thumping low kick. Niob walks into a jab. Niob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Keyes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Niob throws a right and a left that Keyes avoids nicely. Niob looks to land a combination but Keyes avoids it well. Niob checks a leg kick nicely. A jab lands there for Keyes. A punch lands to the side of Keyes 's head but he takes it in his stride. This has been an exciting period of action! Keyes dodges the punch combination from Niob.
Keyes misses with a leg kick and Niob counters with a series of strikes. Keyes will be more careful next time no doubt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Keyes. Niob misses with an uppercut
and Keyes counters with a nice kick to the body. Niob is breathing heavily. Keyes lands a really nice looking cross but Niob seems unphased.

Some bone on bone action there as Niob checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Keyes slips under a jab. Keyes wants to slow Niob down by chopping away at his legs. Niob on the wrong end of a nice hook. Keyes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Niob throws a nice looking combination but Keyes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Keyes throws the kick towards the body but Niob avoids it. Niob looks to land a combination. Keyes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keyes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Niob's calf. Keyes darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A punch combination from Niob misses. Keyes throws a right and a left that Niob avoids nicely. Niob throws a nice looking combination but Keyes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Danga de danga de dang - Keyes scores with a four punch combination! Keyes slips under a jab. Keyes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Keyes looks to throw a body kick and Niob counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Keyes misses with a head kick.

Niob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Some bone on bone action there as Niob checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Keyes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stephen Keyes seems to be getting the better of the standup. Niob lands with a good body shot. Keyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Niob moves away. Keyes moves forwards but Niob connects with a nice, crisp jab. Keyes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Keyes moves in looking to clinch but Niob pushes him off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Keyes looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Keyes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A shot in the inside from Niob. Keyes lands a left hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stefan scores with a takedown into Gracie 's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stefan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stefan tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stefan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stefan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stefan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Man dips to his left and cracks Bonjasky with an uppercut!
It looks like Ernesto Bonjasky has been cut. Bonjasky moves away from the strike by Man. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Man crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bonjasky - the referee stops the clock and Man gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bonjasky. Man manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. This has been an exciting period of action! Bonjasky scoring well with a low kick there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vanagandr misses with a body shot.
Cat shoots for a double leg takedown but Vanagandr sprawls well. He's pushed Cat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vanagandr tries to bum rush Cat with a series of wild strikes but Cat uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Vanagandr on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Cat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vanagandr swivels and escapes. Cat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Cat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vanagandr stuffs the takedown. Vanagandr connects with a right hand. Cat shakes it off. That will dishearten Cat somewhat. Cat doesn't succeed with the takedown and Vanagandr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Cat is breathing heavily. Cat gets tackled into the cage by Vanagandr. Vanagandr maintains the clinch. Vanagandr tries to throw a body punch but Cat avoids it by throwing Vanagandr back against the cage.

Vanagandr is pressed up against the cage. Cat has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vanagandr down to the mat. Vanagandr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vanagandr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cat. Cat shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cat showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Vanagandr is looking to improve his position.
Vanagandr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cat is just content to waste time from the top position. Vanagandr takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Vanagandr seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vanagandr throws a series of strikes that have Cat backpedaling.
