The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Rozmus. Rozmus throws a body punch but Collin moves out of range. Collin throws a hook but Rozmus avoids it easily. Collin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Collin misses with a straight right. A nice inside leg kick there by Rozmus. That's going to slow Collin down. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rozmus, right into the meat.
Rozmus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Collin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Collin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rozmus can pounce on him.
Rozmus lands a lovely overhand right. Rozmus looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rozmus tries to work over Collin's front leg with a kick but Collin checks it. Rozmus connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rozmus throws a low kick but Collin moves out of range easily.

Rafal Rozmus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rozmus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Collin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Collin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rozmus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Collin misses with a left hand and Rozmus counters with a low kick, right behind Collin 's knee. Collin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. He has Nelson in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Krukowski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nelsons head. Krukowski lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A bit of stalling here from Krukowski.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rutten is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rutten throws a sloppy head kick and Grappling moves out of range easily. Grappling with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rutten to score with a decent uppercut. Rutten plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Statham misses with a takedown attempt and Wave counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wave stuffs the takedown. Horrible takedown by Statham or perhaps it was just good defense by Wave which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Statham. That's going to take a lot out of him. Statham takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wave stuffs the takedown attempt from Statham. Statham gets slowly back to his feet. Wave slaps away a takedown attempt from Statham, before circling back to the center of the mat. Statham moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wave throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Statham stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Danga de danga de dang - Wave scores with a four punch combination!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wave works Statham's body with a nice hook. Statham is breathing heavily. Statham showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wave.
Samsung Wave is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wave closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wave cracks Statham with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Statham looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wave finish him?
Statham is rocked! Jordan Statham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Statham shoots in for a takedown but Wave shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wave drops Statham with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Statham looks back up at him and smiles so Wave waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Statham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! No luck with that takedown attempt from Statham. Statham seems to have got his legs back now. Statham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Statham shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wave manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Wave not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wave avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wave looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Statham won't allow Wave to sweep him here. Statham working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Statham throwing strikes but missing. Statham postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee takes a look at Wave to see if he's OK. Statham lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Wave wants to control but Statham postures up. Statham scoring with punches and elbows. Statham landing a few strikes. Wave really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Statham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Statham connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wave some visible discomfort.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wave takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
