The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Rivers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mountain enables Rivers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mountain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rivers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mountain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rivers passes Mountain's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Rivers is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

It looks like Rivers might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Mountain is staying active underneath Rivers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Austin Rivers.
Nice takedown defense from Mountain. No joy for Rivers on that attempt.

Mountain drops Rivers with a straight right hand, right on the button! Mountain follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Yuanjiao looks to land a combination but Fjas avoids it well.
Fjas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Yuanjiao drops Fjas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fjas looks back up at him and smiles so Yuanjiao waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fjas is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yuanjiao ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Fjas's jaw. Fjas's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Yuanjiao does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
