Hammer tries to bum rush Cave with a series of wild strikes but Cave uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hammer tries to clinch there but Cave circles away.
Hammer tries to close the distance and clinch but Cave swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hammer is looking to clinch.
Hammer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hammer misses with a double jab.
Hammer throws a right and a left that Cave avoids nicely.
Cave misses with a series of wild punches.
Hammer tries to clinch but Cave is having none of it.

Rockhead steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Prasoetram's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Prasoetram just didn't come prepared.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergei Dragonov!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragonov stuffs the takedown.
Dragonov moves out of range of the strikes.
Wagner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wagner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dragonov!

Wagner goes for an armbar but Dragonov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dragonov.
Dragonov stops Wagner from standing up.
Wagner is pulling down on Dragonov's head. It's preventing any offense from Dragonov, at least for the moment.
Wagner wants to sweep here but Dragonov controlling him for the moment.

Wagner is looking to stand back up but Dragonov counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Wagner.

Wagner thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dragonov trying to control the position from guard on top but Wagner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dragonov is stalling in the full guard.
Wagner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wagner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dragonov keeps working.

Wagner is working for an americana but Dragonov has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Wagner was thinking about the submission.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dragonov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Chad Wagner will probably get the nod.

Wagner catches Dragonov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Dragonov wants to clinch up but Wagner keeps it at a distance.
Dragonov is looking to clinch but Wagner is avoiding it.
Wagner swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Wagner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dragonov moves out of range of the strikes.
Wagner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wagner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dragonov doesn't seem bothered though.

Wagner throws a lazy head kick
and Dragonov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wagner's knee momentarily.

Dragonov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Wagner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wagner fails with a takedown attempt.
Dragonov fails in his attempt to clinch.

Wagner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dragonov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wagner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wagner has a takedown stuffed.
Dragonov tries a head kick but it misses.
Wagner swats away the attempt to clinch by Dragonov.
Wagner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crunch! Dragonov slams his shin into Wagner's torso.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wagner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dragonov.
Dragonov looks to clinch
and Wagner makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dragonov tries to clinch but Wagner is having none of it.
Dragonov tries to close the distance and clinch but Wagner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wagner is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Dragonov lands a big head kick that sends Wagner tumbling to the mat! Dragonov takes a step backwards and waves Wagner back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wagner is rocked!

It looks like Chad Wagner has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dragonov forces Wagner back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Wagner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wagner tries to throw a body punch but Dragonov avoids it by throwing Wagner back against the cage.
Wagner seems to have got his legs back now.
Wagner avoids the elbow strike from Dragonov, against the cage.
Dragonov lands a damaging elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dragonov blocks an uppercut.
Dragonov landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Dragonov lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Dragonov lands an elbow just above Wagner 's eye.

Chad Wagner's cut is getting worse.
Dragonov just leaning against Wagner, taking a breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sergei Dragonov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Wagner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dragonov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wagner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wagner throws a looping overhand right but Dragonov ducks down to avoid it.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Dragonov throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Wagner is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
