0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bernard Hugo! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hengan throws a big right hand that misses. Hengan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hengan throws a big elbow that misses. Hengan with a flurry of punches that miss. Hengan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hugo's head. Hugo keeping full guard, as Hengan tries to pass. Hengan wants to control from the top but Hugo keeps moving. Hengan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hugo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hengan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hengan postures up in Hugo's guard and throws a big left but Hugo blocks it. Hugo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hugo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hengan. Hengan pushes down on Hugo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hengan is trying to control. Hugo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hengan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hugo's head. Hengan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hugo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Zolt Hengan! After the fight, Zolt Hengan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Mishima! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishima throws a sloppy head kick and Miller moves out of range easily. Mishima tries a head kick but it misses.

Miller avoids the head kick by Mishima.
Miller instigates a clinch. Miller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mishima avoids it. Mishima with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mishima pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mishima on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mishima slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Miller not doing much here.
Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Miller is pressing down on Mishima's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mishima is holding on for now. Miller throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mishima to regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mishima lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Miller ! Miller bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Mishima is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller wants to stand but Mishima has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mishima has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mishima manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The referee warns Miller that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mishima pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. A nice elbow there by Mishima.
Miller is rocked! Miller wants to hold on but Mishima pushes him away. Oh Miller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mishima lands a nice shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller is in a horrible position here. Mishima smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Mishima! Miller is hurt baaadly! Mishima is firing away with more strikes - Miller is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedida throws a body punch but Ki Duk moves out of range. Ki Duk moves in looking to clinch but Fedida pushes him off. Ki Duk tries to clinch but Fedida is having none of it. Ki Duk tries to close the distance and clinch but Fedida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fedida avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fedida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ki Duk circles away quickly and effectively. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fedida swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ki Duk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fedida manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ki Duk stuffs the takedown attempt from Fedida. Fedida gets slowly back to his feet. A swing and a miss from Fedida. Ki Duk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fedida scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Bong Ki Duk has been cut. Fedida gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ki Duk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ki Duk gets a clinch. Fedida is trying to break free. Still in the clinch, Ki Duk scores with a nice short uppercut. Ki Duk cracks Fedida with a nice body shot. Ki Duk is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ki Duk presses Fedida against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ki Duk gets through Fedida's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Ki Duk leaning his opponent against the cage. Fedida has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Ki Duk is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Ki Duk pushes Fedida back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Ki Duk digs a right hand into Fedida's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fedida's gas tank. A short uppercut from Ki Duk. A shot in the inside from Ki Duk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka closes this distance looking for a takedown but LuLu circles away. Tanaka fails with a takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tanaka shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Tanaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tanaka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tanaka is trying to control the action in half guard but LuLu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. LuLu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanaka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. LuLu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. LuLu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tanaka. Tanaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tanaka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tanaka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tanaka drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tanaka as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! LuLu screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tanaka! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tczho throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range. Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tczho, pushing him back against the cage. Silva manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Silva striking off his back but it's not causing Tczho any problems. Tczho engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Silva working a defensive guard here.
Tczho tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom. Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tczho stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tczho! Silva is looking for a sweep. Tczho goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tczho but great work by Silva. Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tczho is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva advances nicely into full mount. Tczho's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Silva looking to control but Tczho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Silva seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tczho is holding on tight.
Tczho is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action. Tczho tries to get back to half guard but can't. Silva trying to control but he's not successful this time. Silva blocks Tczho's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Silva tries to control but Tczho wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tczho is trying desperately to improve position. Tczho tries to control the position but Silva now has his back.

Tczho tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tczho's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tczho is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva trying to control but he's not successful this time. Silva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Tczho has his hands clasped together but Silva breaks the hold and Tczho is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Silva!
